"Isabella and Marco are the most kind and welcoming hosts I have ever met. They treat you like family and will go over and beyond to make you feel at home. Their home is tastefully decorated and beautiful. Marco made a "small" aperitif or snack for us when we arrived. It was a full meal! He made "pallotte cacio e ova," a pizza and served it with local wine. While we were eating, Isabella insisted, "Let me make you some spaghetti so you don't have to go out in the cold for dinner." A fine dessert was provided by their son's girlfriend who made it for her baking exam. Breakfast consisted of an omelet, pastries, coffee, yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. If I could give a 100-star rating, I would. You get much more than you pay for at Casa Isabella, especially because of the kindness and generosity of the hosts who show that they love to entertain and to serve. "The house and garden exceeded all our expectations. We loved the photos and description in the listing, which is why we chose it, but the reality was so much better. On arrival, Guglielmo and Luca met us to show us around the house and garden and give us important information. Several times during the holiday, they checked in on us by message, and offered recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. They were the perfect hosts. The highlights: the pool is really big and has shallow end and deep end so great for swimming as well as keeping cool. Has great lights too for nightime swimming. The deck and sunbeds have umbrellas for shade and there are places to sit in various parts in the garden - great for morning coffee or aperatifs. The house is homely and very well equipped with all you could possibly need. The undercover patio area is quirky and beautifully decorated with agricultural artefacts a perfect place to sit, eat and relax. The location is ideal - the house is in a tiny hamlet so really peaceful and private but only 5 mins away from San Vito Chietino and within easy driving distance of beautiful beaches on the Costa dei Trabocchi, pretty Italian towns with great history and architecture, the mountains of the Majella National Park and even the Abruzzo Zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. "

"This is a special place. We stayed here with some of our extended family to explore Abruzzo. The house is beautifully sited with a panoramic view of the Adriatic. The property is well maintained and quite comfortable. The town is charming and its beaches are quite fine. Overall an excellent place. Highly recommended."
