I did not like this location. Stayed at other Hampton Inns before and did. Checked in and was given a room on the 1st floor that smelled musty (very) and the ceiling clearly had a leak at some point. Large water stain and the top of the curtains had mold. Front desk was annoyed we wouldn't take that room. Took us to another room - right next door. This one still had the same smell. Then to the 3rd room right above it - lighter smell but no way should we pay to smell mold. Finally we mentioned to please get us to the other side of the hotel - got a room on the other side 3rdd floor and all smelled good - BUT one elevator was not working the other seemed scary - bottom floor had a door open with a fan running into it. It was a room that had elevator equiptment - smelled hot. Actually worried us of failure or fire. Asked front desk and she just snapped that she just worked there. We stayed but was not happy. The non smelling room did have comfortable beds but it was near that elevator that had the hot odor. Would not stay again and was so surprised when we checked out the new person at the front desk had no clue of any type of smell or flood issue in that 1st room. If the curtains were moldy then someone there should have a clue.
