The farmhouse is located in a peaceful, rural area. It is a working farm so sometimes you will be able to see farm work in action. This home is 29 miles from Great Falls, 12 miles southeast of Fairfield, 27 miles southeast of Choteau, and 32 miles from Augusta. A beautiful spot in the country to hang your hat for the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, utensils and BBQ out on the patio. Pets are allowed in the sun room or out in the dog run, but not in the home without supervision. A ping pong table is also great fun for the entire family.
The house has wifi and TV including Netflix. The deck has outside seating in the afternoon shade or morning sun for coffee.
This home is centrally located to visit Glacier National Park, access hiking or biking trails, as well as lakes, rivers and streams for fishing. There is pheasant, geese and duck hunting available with an inquiry. Elk and deer hunting are close by as well. Fort Shaw is 4 miles away with wonderful history of the 1904 World Championship Girls Basketball Team. The CM Russell museum, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, and Rivers Edge Trail are located in Great Falls, just 29 miles away. Freezeout lake is only 25 minutes away, and is Montana's primary snow goose staging area. A place where as many as 300,000 snow geese and 10,000 tundra swans gather and rest before flying onward.
