Although you could enjoy your entire stay without even leaving the community, Pelican Preserve is ideally located close to downtown Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach. Destinations such as Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Boca Grande, Bonita Springs, and Naples offer some of the finest shopping, dining, beaches, professional sports and cultural experiences you could hope for during your time in southwest Florida, and are all close enough to fill your days with new and exciting adventures!

Pelican Preserve is a private, members only golf course. Golf is unavailable to guests November through April. Golf is available May through October by contacting the Golf Pro Shop.

This property is approximately 11 miles from RSW International Airport and 20 miles from Fort Myers Beach.

Great House wonderful location
Love the house, it was just as wonderful as advertised. The location is great, a short walk or drive to the town center where all action is. Free coffee during week, lots of different exercise classes to choose from. Two great restaurants and two great pools. Everyone is so nice and welcoming.

A True Gem
My husband and I stayed for the entire month of March in this beautiful home in Pelican Preserve. The home was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay ... so much to see and do at Pelican. The home is very conveniently located to the Town Center, the hub of most activities. While we are not golfers, found we were kept busy with all they had to offer. The food at Flip Flops was excellent! Would definitely stay here again.

Unit needs some updates.
Lighting needs improvements. There is no good reading area. Ceiling cans are not bright enough and table lamp does not provide adequate lighting. Suggest replacing all cans with 100 watt equivalent LEDs. Some bathroom sink lights burned out. Cushions on coaches are past their prime. Owners car in garage limits available space.

Change of seanery
This was the second year we rented this property. We found it as great as we did last year despite the pandemic. Since we cooked at home more this stay it would have been nice to have a more substantial cookware selection and a gas outdoor grill.

As former residents of Pelican Preserve we enjoyed meeting old friends and neighbors, playing golf and dining at some of our favorite restaurants. A special extra was seeing Hamilton at Barbara Mann Theatre. We'll likely return again next year.

Vacation Luxury
We had the best vacation stay in this Pelican Preserve house. When we walked in we immediately fell in love with the house. Open, spacious, beautifully decorated. Fully outfitted kitchen with everything you need to make your stay memorable. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay. Pelican Preserve is a fantastic community to spend your time at. So many amenities and activities. Best of all the nicest people we have met in all of our travels. Flip Flops pool bar has great food, drinks, and people. The same can be said about Destinations restaurant that is on site. Already planning our next trip to stay at this gorgeous home.

We rented this Pelican Preserve property for the month of March 2019. The house was very nice, clean, great master bed/bath,with up to date furnishings. We did enjoy the house and especially liked how close we were to pool and fitness facilities. Pelican Preserve is a great 55+ community. The house had two bikes we could use and a large lanai with outdoor seating, table and charcoal grill. Some suggestions for the kitchen would be a better toaster and a broiling pan.We had a great time- thank you!

Most enjoyable stay!
We stayed four weeks starting mid March in this spacious and nicely furnished home that was spotless when we arrived. The privacy and location is one of the best in the community, just a block away from the town square, pool, pickleball and the amphitheatre. We really enjoyed the charcoal bbq on the lanai for a nice change and the high quality bikes to ride the boardwalks and streets. Our adult children joined us for a week and also enjoyed all of the amenities, although the sofa bed where our son slept was not as comfortable and probably more suitable for young children only. The home was very well equipped and our only suggestion is to add High def TV service and a larger frying pan!

My stay at 10623 Vicenza Ct.
My stay at 10623 Vicenza Ct was wonderful. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate! The grounds were beautiful well. I was amazed at all the activties Pelican Preserve had planned for their people. I would stay there again because of what it had to offer. I do have two complaints and I shared the first one with Brett. There were no shades available on the patio door. Because the Preserve was on the back side of the house, most likely no one would be looking in but being by myself, it still made me uncomfortable that someone could. My other complaint is about one of the gate persons. It was a lady maybe in her 40s or 50s, short hair and glasses. She was rude when I came through the gate multiple times, not only to me but my guests. I ended up getting a sticker for my car so I wouldn't have to deal with her.
