The Wobbly Pelican is available for rent post hurricane Milton! The home currently has a beautiful oceanfront view and the beach is just steps away! The entire exterior of the house is new including siding, windows, doors roof, & AC. The heated pool & hot tub were re-tiled / re-surfaced, have all new equipment, and a new privacy fence has been installed. The main elevated living floor has new flooring and paint among other updates. The house boasts two large decks – the back deck with direct bedroom access overlooks the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. It has 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, Queen + Full) and 2 full bathrooms. Access to washer and dryer. Maximum occupancy is 8. Property is located between public beach access 16 and 17 which is about 1/2 mile from the Publix grocery store to the north and 1/2 mile from CVS to the south.

FMB natives

I’m a FMB native and it was so great to see the island (slowly) returning to normal after the storms. The house now has an ocean view and was an easy walk to the beach. The pool was lovely and perfectly warm for the cool front. Beach house was clean, well-stocked and we enjoyed the ease of having beach chairs and towels available! Thank you for having us. We hope to book again when visiting family!

Amazing Location

Jen and Kevin's home was amazing and just what we needed for a long weekend get away with family and friends. The pool and downstairs patio were great after afternoons on the beach. They are super responsive, and let us check in early and out late. We would definitely look to book again next time we visited the area.

Great place to stay!

Property was great and the pool was amazing! We visited during a tropical storm, so didn’t spend much time at the beach although it was an easy walk. Communication with the owners was very wonderful, as well. We came for a girls trip so the only downside was the number of mirrors available for everyone to use while getting ready. There is one in each bathroom and a full body mirror in the master. We would definitely stay here again.

Totally Great

We had a lovely long weekend at this house. The pool and hot tub are really nice, and you’re super close to the beach for easy walks when you want to be on the sand. The trolley picks up right at the corner for easy trips into downtown. Can’t wait to come back!

Spring Break March 2024

Great place to stay! Very clean and plenty of room for family of 4. Walk to beach is about 2 minutes, and the beach is spectacular! The area is still recovering from hurricane, but the rebuilding is coming along quickly. It didn’t bother us any. We would recommend staying here 😎

Wonderful Family vacation

We had a beautiful week with family. The weather was perfect! The hosts are wonderful and accommodating through our communications. They truly care about you as guests by their communication and follow-up. The location of the house in perfect with Oceanview and centrally located on the island. The house is well appointed with anything that you would need. The pool and hot tube are clean and enjoyable with a great sitting area. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your little slice of heaven!

Amazing Beachhouse

This property is gorgeous, with an amazing pool and hot tub plus two rooms with doors that open to the ocean (across the street). Could not recommend this enough! The hosts are very reliable and the neighbors are awesome. I will rent this home every time I am in Ft Myers! Cannot say enough great things about it! If you’re thinking about renting…. DO IT!

Good for families

Definitely would stay here again. It’s a nice property overall that comes with plenty of items to get setup for a day at the beach. Very short simple walk to the beach from the house. Our only complaint with the stay would be the complexity of the pool/spa heating functions and the remote. Some days it worked great, other days it didn’t seem to work at all.

Great location; needs some love

The location was a short walk to the beach which was fantastic! The owners were great in responding to email questions and via text message which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute; however, it was not completely clear that the 4th bedroom and bathroom were totally separate from the rest of the house. This would not be a problem if it were all adults, but we did not use this space at all because we had children with us. The kids did share the room with the bunk beds but the top bunk was not safe to sleep in as the bar across was bunk was extremely loose. The place itself was clean; however, we were really disappointed with the towels and bed sheets containing stains. Unfortunately, we could not sit outside on the porch because the garbage pails smelled like rotten shellfish so the whole outside was very smelly. The pool was kept up very nicely and very clean and it was very private in the backyard that was filled with trees. We were able to sit back there and enjoy it! The garage included floats, pads for the chairs, and other beach items. The house is right down the block from Publix which was very convenient.

Cosy place close to the beach

Perfect place for us, a party of two families, in total 7 persons. Enough space and not crowded. Close to perfect beaches and lots of fun things to do. Quick answers from the landlord to our questions.

We loved the house and the location. Owner was very Easy to deal with and accessible. I would note the bottom apartment has a Sulfur/Musky smell. House could use an Iron and toaster/toaster oven. Overall a great stay.

Excellent beach home

We so enjoyed our family .(there were 7 of us) vacation here. Everything was incredible...the pool and spa, the proximity to the beach, restaurants and grocery store close by made this vacation so special and memorable. Jennifer was great and answered all of our questions and was so accommodating. We would love to stay here again...it was perfect for us!

Short walk to the beach and public transportation

This was our first experience with a house rental and Jennifer was amazing she was great with all queastions prior to travel and during travel. We did not rent a car. Took public trasportation from the airport to the house. It took awhile after a long travel day. But 3.00 for 2 adults and 2 children to drive in the same traffic as an uber. Wasnt bad. The traffic downtown was the worst we have ever seen in our few years of visiting. so that meant all the trams were delayed. So we did more walking then we anticipated. The house is located in the quieter side of town. But we enjoyed our stay and the convience to and from the beach.

Great pool area

The best part was the pool, hot tub and proximity to beach. Was short walk with easy access accross Estero boulevard. 4 bedrooms was great for our family. Plenty of buckets and shovels for the kids. plenty of beach chairs, beach mats and beach towels. Great place to get away.

Over the top!!

My family rented for one week. Everything in the description of the property is as described. The pool area is fantastic! Four bedrooms and three bathrooms are difficult to find, and this one is perfect in every way. I would recommend this house to any group: location, appointments, cleanliness, and immediate communication with the owner. We would rent this house again!

Great spot to visit Fort Myers Beach

This rental is very nice for any family looking to get away to Fort Myers Beach. My family was staying on Sanibel Island and this was the closest location we could find. The drive only took 25 minutes at times, but other times we found ourselves sitting in traffic for hours near the beach and the bridge. The days that we did not have to drive were nice as there is a Publix only half a mile from the property and we had full private pool access and just a short walk to the beach. This area of the beach was not crowded at all so that was very nice for us as well. The kitchen and dining areas are plenty large enough for any meal you want to cook and the house was fully stocked. We did initially have some issues getting into the house (mostly because it was dark when we arrived), and with the hot tub, but the owner was very responsive and addressed all of our questions and concerns during our stay. I would recommend this property for any family traveling to the Ft Myers area.
