"The property was very pretty, and the staff and owners were very nice and attentive to a couple of issues we had. However, the cabin is very small. There was enough sleeping space for 6 people, which left no room for our suitcases and belongings. Beds and a futon took up all the space. The bathroom was very tiny, as well, with no place to any toiletries out. And the water heater was so tiny, there was only about 10 minutes of hot water when showering and then it went to ice cold! And spiders!...

The icing on the cake was being able to make some friends with others staying in our neighboring cabins. Don’t miss out. Larry and Michelle are fantastic! "The location was great, but DO NOT book through Orbitz or Expedia. Once I spoke with them directly I found it would have been significantly cheaper to contact them directly to book. I asked orbitz if they would honor the true price instead of their extremely inflated price they charged me and they refused. Great location just don’t EVER book through Orbitz or Expedia. They will rip you off!"

"If you want something close to Deadwood, but far enough away to feel secluded - this is the place! Beautiful property about 15-20 minutes from downtown Deadwood. Easy drive to town. Loved the balcony off the bedroom - great place to have coffee and enjoy the view!"

"We didn’t stay at the cabin a lot because of hiking and going to downtown deadwood. It was a nice place to sleep and hangout with friends when waiting for the next activity. Good location the 24/7 cab service had no problems getting to the cabin!"

"Very nice quiet location. Wildlife in the back yard. The covered deck is awesome. We ate all our meals outside on the deck. I can’t think of anything I’d change to make it better. Our family had a great time!"

"My husband and I stayed here on our hiking trip to Deadwood. We were soo impressed with how peaceful and beautiful this location was! The cabin was clean and perfect for the two of us. Our favorite parts were enjoying the views from the porch and hot tub, both of which we spent alot of time in watching the deer eating right in front of us. This place is a little slice of heaven and located super close to Deadwood but, far enough for privacy!"

"Large kitchen with ample amenities. Great location, just off the main rd to deadwood. Beds were very comfortable. This property could be amazing with good management/owner/maintenance. I'll keep the negative short. My email said to contact owner or son eith any cproblems. We got locked in after entering. I immediately contacted all # given to me. The "son" was a pompis prick, treated me like i was an idiot who couldnt use a door knob. . Tried to communicate but was just treated very poorly, and...

"This property was beautiful! In a great location and had great amenities in the cabin. The hot tub was very nice after a long day of walking in downtown deadwood, or cruising the trails in our side by sides. It was very clean and was a perfect fit for my family."

"The house is well designed to handle a large family gathering. With 5 bedrooms and 3 living areas there was plenty of room to spread out and come together. The property itself is secluded in the back of a large neighborhood. We saw wildlife every day. The house was clean, well stocked and the sleep number king size bed was dreamy"

"We were the first to be able to rent this brand new home and it was perfect! Comfy beds, pillows, furniture, and everything to make it feel just like home! Loved the decor and sitting out front on the patio! We would definitely go back and stay again. Jeri Jo and Kurt were perfect hosts and we felt like we had known them long before this last week.
