Horrible rooms
Horrible smell of Pot all night line long. All windows were closed. Room was very sketchy. Worried about bed bugs all night but didnt see any. None of the windows locked. We originally booked The Clevlander.. in December however it was condemned in May 7 months earlier. Notices everywhere. We were put up in another room that the property owns behind the office. This room wasnt worth a quarter of the one fifty we paid during off peak season. Front desk staff were nice and beach is a very short walk.

The phone on Expedia were a lot better than what the room actually looked like. Office was hard to find. The desk agent didn’t seem like she wanted to be bothered, was charged more for the facility fee than why Expedia said I would have to pay at the property. The tv was on a Spanish setting, couldn’t navigate it so watching tv was out of the question. Got up in the middle of the night to find roaches on the kitchen counter and the bathroom window didn’t lock. Water barely got hot and breakfast was a joke. The only thing good was that it is up the block from the beach. Wouldn’t recommend this.

This was a horrible place. I tried to cancel once I saw the place but they wouldn’t let me even though I booked it fifteen minutes before I got there. There were drug users all around.

Fake publicity. The pool was not working. Our lock never work in 3 days. We arrive at 11 pm and there was party outside. I had to call to security. The breakfast is not such things. I had to pay almost $200 additional at the moment of arriving. Old beds. Worst experience ever

Online it didn’t mention the property wasn’t safe. Ending of May city of Hollywood Beach inspectors put a sticker on the property. The pool is also closed down.

Incredible location! Beautiful ocean front view right from the comfort of your bed. There are complimentary beach chairs, bikes, and free frozen drinks included in your stay that will save you some money for activities around the city. 5/5 cleanliness with an inviting and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

This property was not clean, bathroom was dirty, water knobs were broken I didn’t have hot water, floors felt sticky and beds felt like sheets were not washed. Overall very uncomfortable sleep disappointed. Only good thing was we were right in the beach but very loud at night. Not worth the money at all.

The team at the Clevelander were awesome. Maria was great with check in and check out. I picked this place mainly for the price and location close to the beach. For all the people that gave this place a bad review, you can't go wrong with the affordability.

HORRIFYING!!!! Never ever will I stay nor recommend any of the affiliated Clevelander Hollywood Hotels. Overall DISGUSTING!! Roaches walking all over inside our room, the door entrance lock was faulty, We arrived @4pm to check in and waited in line for an HOUR, No beach/pool towels were offered (not even to RENT them) no coffee was available inside our room (only coffee maker) Premises were SUPER OLD and falling apart, almost looks like an abandoned building. My husband & I felt SUPER unsafe to fall asleep. They charged me $18 “resort fee” for I dont know WHAT because clearly this isn't a resort nor did we have any “amenities” like resorts offer. They charged $19 for self parking (thank goodness we even found a parking space) the hold $100 for deposit incidentals upon check in BUT they release it within 10 DAYS after check out!!! Not even the 5 star hotels we’ve stayed in does that, at the very least 3 days! Lastly, in the morning upon check out, Maria said we could not “rent” beach towels because we already “checked out” as well as we could NOT use the parking space for the same reasons… 11am (AGAIN not even the most elite hotels do this, they ALLOW you to stay in the premises and enjoy their amenities even after check out and of course your car is parked in premises until you leave) this was completely a waste of our money and time! SHAME ON YOU!!!!

This hotel is a chain hotel by the same owner. The most ill-equipped place I’ve ever tried to check in to! First they stated they were “hacked”, had to stand in line over 2 hours to try to get to my pre-paid room! Thank goodness for Expedia Rep relocation us away from this facility! Non-American owned! Very rude staff! They were making people leave their Drivers License or credit cards for “incidental fees deposit” until their computers came back online! OH NO that was totally illegal! Do not choose this location! Or the Palms or Hollywood Hotel!!!
