Steps to the Beach and a Stroll to Fort Lauderdale Nightlife

Our house is located on a private cul-de-sac street that is only 50 meters from the Fort Lauderdale Beach. Highway A1A (our cross-street) is the primary, ocean road that runs from Miami north thru Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach. Fort Lauderdale's primary nightlife and beach-front restaurants are only a 2 kilometer (1+ mile) walk/drive from our street. The famous Galleria Mall with exclusive stores is a 1 mile drive while Sawgrass Mall with hundreds of outlet stores is 30 minutes away. Supermarkets, movie theaters, golf, restaurants, and nightlife are all short drives from our house while Downtown Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas Boulevard is a great venue for art stores, boutiques, nightlife, and high-end restaurants. Boating/fishing excursions, jet skiing, and parasailing are all offered nearby on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The port for the major cruise lines out of Fort Lauderdale is a 10 minute drive while the Fort Lauderdale International Airport is a short 15 minute drive from our house.


Household Amenities: Our house has a few extra amenities for both children and adults. There is a removable safety fence encircling the pool to prevent accidents for small children. A very important safety feature that allows children to play in the backyard without fear they accidentally fall into the pool. We also have a wide array of children's toys, children's books, board games and card games as well as a Playstation for video games.

There is jogging down the beach or biking in the Nature Park located directly behind our street as well as swimming in the Ocean or our pool.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Great vacation home
We rented this listing for a multigenerational family for the month of March. Location is great, right across the street from the beach with many restaurants, supermarkets, cafes nearby. The house was great, plenty of room, kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and flatware. Pool area was lovely with comfortable seating and was maintained for us during our stay. Craig is a great host, very quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

This beach house was perfect for our group and had space for additional people. Less than a 2 minute walk to the beach and we could easily walk to the shops and restaurants if we desired too. The house comfortably slept our group, all amenities came as advertised, and all appliances worked perfectly. The Owner was extremely helpful and available when we had questions and requests. Next time we vacation to the area, we would absolutely stay here again.

The property was perfect for our family. The house had everything we needed including child/infant supplies, beach towels, etc. 5 min walk to a beautiful uncrowded beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was perfect. Heated pool in a gorgeous back yard full of swaying palm trees.

Beautiful, spacious, clean. Location is key. One minute walk to sunrise every morning. Gorgeous. Pool was warm although entire pool area was shaded all the time; this house could be improved with a few less trees by the pool although they and the tropical plants were certainly beautiful. Would love to stay again.

Great week!
It’s an old house but very roomy for a family. Great location and nice pool in the back. Backyard is shady which we liked and somewhat buggy at night due to all the beautiful landscaping. Craig the owner was great. Very responsive to any problems and helpful with day activities. The house had beach stuff and lots of games for kids. We loved the beach and it’s only 2 houses away. We would definetly stay again.

House was great
The house and location were great. Craig contacted me before and after we checked in to be sure everything was good and said to contact him with any problems. The only problem we had was upstairs shower backed up and was dirty however since nobody told me about this problem until we were leaving I never contacted Craig about it. We all enjoyed the stay and hope to back again next year.

Best rental ever
The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you can think of under the sun for your vacation needs. Including tons of kids toys for the house and the beach. It's a very quick walk to the ocean and in a more quieter area. Craig was an amazing host and went above and beyond. We will be back. Perfect Vacations
Property was exactly as advertised and provided exactly what we needed for our stay in Fort Lauderdale. We enjoyed our stay while we were in town, the location is fantastic. 5 mile radius to literally anything you want to do, Check in and out was seamless. Craig's home is in a great location, just down the block from the beach, with plenty of space in the home's multiple bedrooms and living areas. The furniture and condition were a bit worn/outdated, but consistent with the photos and everything was clean. Craig was very open to communication and provided recommendations, which were really helpful.
