Unfortunately the check in experience when I arrived at the hotel was extremely long and slightly unprofessional. The woman who greeted me was helping a guest in another room while I waited at the counter for about 20 minutes. A line formed beyond me and when she finally got back to the counter she helped a number of other people before myself, who had been waiting there initially. I had mentioned this to her in which she then helped me, unknowingly that the people who were waiting behind me had come previously but because she had been so occupied with other endeavours they had all left and come back. There was no apology or compensation for having us all waiting in which upon my check in completion a lot of frustration ensued with other guests. I understand being busy but acknowledging the fact you had everyone waiting for so long and not professionally resolving the situation was something I was not very happy with. I think multiple people need to be working at the front desk if this is the case and maybe a quick review of proper customer service etiquette would be beneficial!

The employees at the front desk were very nice. Cleanliness: There was a powerful moldy scent as you enter the building. The elevator was also very dirty and old. Also the carpets and doors leading to the hotel room was noticeably dirty. The hotel room also had a powerful moldy scent as you enter; the basin had hair and mold which was really disgusting. Breakfast: The steamed breakfast sausage was delicious. However, the first day, I found a long strand of hair in my omelette. Furthermore, the mattress in the room was damaged with a piece of steel sticking out of the bed which was extremely dangerous. I brought this to the attention of the front desk but unfortunately it wasn’t fixed. Suggestions: 1. Hotel needs to be deeply cleaned and renovated inside 2. Daily housekeeping
