We enjoyed our stay at the Boat House. It’s location was great for visiting Port Huron and Lexington. The space was lakeside charming and just right for two seniors. We would come again if our travel was in the area.
Cottage was very clean and cozy. Nice location across from a park, and a short walk to the lake. Close to grocery stores to. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again.
Was a great place for our family of 4. Good location and the property was nice and clean. The parking pad for our cottage was pretty tight for a pickup truck to navigate, but there was parking across the street available. Thank you!
This is our second time staying at the cottages. Perfect location across from the beach, and park. Clean and comfortable. Lots of games for playing indoors when cool, and an outdoor fire pit , volleyball court and outdoor toys for playing outdoors. The host is very responsive, and super helpful. Perfect place whether visiting in the summer or Fall.
Such a beautiful and well appointed cottage. We had an issue the first night and the owners were quick to respond and resolved the issue. The cottage is across the street from a park with a small beach, we enjoyed sunbathing there. A quick commute to Lexington, great restaurants and shopping. Walk to the Tally Ho from the boathouse for lunch or dinner, nice locals. We would definitely recommend the Lakeshore cottages!
When you pull in just ignore the mess to the left as it doesn't reflect where you will be staying. Sadly it is someones elses mess. Your rental will be very clean and neat, and have nothing amiss. The beach and park across the street are great! And the restaurant that is a 3 minute walk was a plus. And not to far, about a mile or two is a great place for breakfast!
The Boathouse was delightful. The property was clean and well situated. It was well appointed and very clean, with everything we needed and nicely decorated. The communication from the property owner was timely and accurate. We had a lovely time and plan to stay here again as we enjoy this area of Michigan very much.
All was great, although the grill gas tank was empty and the two houses behind and across from the cottages were in I’ll repair but blocked from all but the last cottage.
Awesome place to stay. Beach is just a short walk away. Only about 10 mins from shopping and restaurants. Right around the corner from Dollar General and a small family restaurant. Highly recommend!
Everything we were hoping for was achieved. The cottage itself was lovely and the amenities were great. We could drive to the park across the street and sit on the beach. A nearby restaurant served incredible fresh fish. It was VERY hot but the AC worked great and we played cards. A nice picnic table right outside the door was perfect for morning coffee and a journal session. Highly recommended.
Went for a cousin weekend and stayed here on a recommendation from a friend. It was clean, easy to get to and there is a beautiful park across the street. There is a cute bar within walking distance. Good bar food. It was a wonderful place to stay.
The property had all the amenities and spotlessly clean! No view I wanted a lakefront view Eveything was provided Linen and towels excellent T.V husband very happy!!!
Everything you can think of is at the property. The check in precess was easy. The beach is a short walk or you can drive. We brought a wagon and we’re able to go back and forth no problem. We will rent again hopefully next summer!
The Boathouse Cottage was so cute! Backyard with chairs, picnic table, and wood for a fire. Inside was clean and had everything you’d need for a weeks stay, or longer. The park across the street offered walkways, and the beach was just a short walk. I would definitely recommend!
We were there for a baseball tournament and instead of staying in a hotel, we stayed at the cottage as it allowed for some privacy and was cheaper than the hotel. Just a 20 min to Port Huron and had everything that we needed.
It actually seemed like more space than I thought it would be from the pictures. It was clean & cute & located across the street from a park & Lake Huron. We enjoyed the use of the grill one night and the fire pit both nights. It was a Great home base to explore the area.
