"My family of 8 stayed here for a few days and we loved the location and area along a creek. We had 3 kids so there was plenty of outdoor space for them to play and walk. We did not have to worry about traffic near the house while they played. Our only complaint was that one of the photos showed a large grill, however that was not there when we came. There was a small charcoal grill but it was not in the best shape to use (broken handle, needed cleaned). Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here again in the future"

"We were attending an event at the University and it was an event to support our college daughter. We did not want to travel to and from Montgomery or Auburn. This home was clean, close in proximity and updated. I hate that we did not seek out local properties prior until now. We had a small issue with the internet. The host responded timely. We loved it and would recommend this stay to anyone. We are disappointed that it is booked for May 2025 graduation. "

"This house looks good from it's picture but it is another story when you drive up to it. Trash can outside in front of house was full and overflowing with trash all over the yard. House is located on a halfway main street with cars driving on it all night long. House was over decorated with Ross glass decorations to the point you feel like you are a bull in a China shop and have no choice but to remove all the dangerous glass from everywhere just to walk from one room to the next Beds are all some type of foam, something in the house left everyone with headaches. Some furniture was broken and cupboards had broken doors. There was no mention of a step inside the house to one of the main bedrooms, this step down was to a floor that was rotten with flooring coming apart. The kitchen is stocked with leftover pots, pans and utensils, that in most kitchens would have been thrown away. I would not recommend this house to anyone with children or seniors "

"Overall, excellent accommodations and roomy for entire family. We were there for a funeral and it was in close proximity to all of our needs. "

"Excellent cabin in the woods adventure!! The cabin was clean and all the necessities were provided (towels, linens, coffe pot, refrigerator, microwave etc.) except for an iron. I recommend that more sensor lighting be added along the cliff so that there are no accidents falling into the creek. I loved my stay and recommend that on the Vrbo site to please place the correct address on the site to the entrance when the booking is confirmed. Since the internet was sketchy until I reached the cabin I had no internet to access my email with the correct address. I was circling around the cabin for 20 minutes and it was right there because the entrance location was not on the Vrbo site. Thank you to the property owner who stayed on the telephone with me and guided me all the way into the property and stayed on the phone with me until he knew I was safely inside the cabin. I recommend this location with 5 stars to others."

"Nice location, just a couple minutes down the road from TU! Tub, bed linen, refrigerator and yard were all clean. I left my electric toothbrush and the host offered to ship it back to me! Next time I’m in town, I’m definitely booking this but again! Thank you! "

"Love this place. Property is quiet, has everything needed to be comfortable, relax and enjoy this home away from home. Kitchen is great and the screened in porch provides relaxing with a breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to return! The host provides great support & prompt communication throughout our stay. "The house was described as "Historic", which means it is very old. It was clean. We were a group of 2 couples. Both of the women complained that the beds were uncomfortable, as well as the pillows. Each of the beds were full size. There was a couple of air fresheners in the living room that were so strong it was a bit overwhelming. After communication with the owner, we removed the air fresheners to the front porch, turned on the AC and a fan and things were better. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay. "
