So convenient to any excursion, and the cute little town of Manitou nestled within the mountains can be viewed directly from the wonderful balcony on this historic carriage house. We stayed on the East side of the property for this trip and it did not disappoint! We were welcomed with a nice note and lovely bottle of wine! First snowfall of the year and it was the perfect amount to add to the beauty of the fountains. The snow kept us from Pikes Peak but we did go to Garden of the Gods. However, the home is smaller than the photos suggest. It was clean and decently stocked, but the living room couch was replaced with an uncomfortable IKEA sofa that fits only 4 people closely.
