The Highland Club
The Highland Club, set in 50 acres of managed grounds forms an integral part of Fort Augustus. The Abbey boasts a full range of amenities. From the sumptuous swimming pool, with its steam room and sauna to the stained-glass beauty of the lounge area with full sized snooker table. For the more energetic there is a fully stocked gym, tennis court (racket and balls are in the apartment), pétanque and boules pit, a wonderful and a well-used cricket pitch. The location allows wider access to the area. A number of restaurants and pubs in the village are all within strolling distance as are the famous Telford Locks on the Caledonian Canal. The Area
Inverness lies 45 mins to the North and Fort William and hour to the South. The Isle of Skye lies to the West and the Abbey nestles among the hills surrounding the loch. There are a number of stunning walks nearby, or why not use the available adult bikes and cycle along the Caledonian Canal.
