This charming house is an olive grove of 10,000 m2 on the mountain of Puig Major overlooking the 'Sierra de Tramuntana', declared a World Heritage Site in the category of Cultural Landscape by UNESCO. Ideal to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rustic environment. Only 8 minutes from Fornalutx, 15 minutes away from the town of Sóller, as well as the beach of Puerto de Sóller. The house is an example of sustainable life, using solar energy. It offers tasteful wooden furniture and stone crafts. It is part of a larger, independent and private estate, with access and own parking, surrounded by trees, orchards and marjales. Ideal place for walking, hiking, wonderful walks through the surrounding mountain landscapes, are easily accessible.

Fornalutx has been voted the most beautiful town in Spain on several occasions. Located in a valley of the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana, surrounded by orange, lemon and olive trees, with its Moorish stone marshes. Soller is considered one of the most beautiful and romantic villages on the island. Both villages with their stone houses, orange trees, etc. They have a lot of bars and restaurants with their special charm and traditional Mallorcan cuisine. They also have their own local market, banks and stores. In the Port of Sóller you can find some bars and good restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish and meat too, some located on the seafront. Boat excursions are made from the port to visit the north coast (grand tour-GR) Mountain biking is also practiced.

Fabulous slice of heaven in the country
We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was the perfect place to get off the grid and enjoy some peace and tranquility. The home is nestled among groves of olive trees, with spectacular views all around. The herd of sheep was an added bonus...we were entertained by them daily!

If you want to get away from it all this is a great place. The outside cooking area was especially good where we cooked on a wood fire every night plus there was a wood fired oven for pizzas etc. Good location for walking. Beautiful location amid the olive groves.

Lovely peaceful and beautiful place
My son and I had a fantastic 5 night stay at this beautiful and peaceful place. Here you really get into gear and relax completely. There is no wifi in the house and the mobile signal is very poor, but even with a teenager you can do without SoMe for a few days. Actually think it's healthy. The warmest recommendations from here. Lovely quiet location, A perfect antidote to the crowds. Tomeu very welcoming with some lovely oranges and lemons from his farm, Coming from the Cotswolds we know all about sheep (!) but these were particularly charming with their bells and friendly manner, loved watching them especially during feeding time. Stunning location, only 10 minutes from Fornalutx which is beautiful with lovely restaurants and a beautiful outlook over the mountains. Very much enjoyed driving in the Tramontana mountains with its beautiful villages and stunning scenery and a lot of cyclists!! Thank you, Tomeu, for a lovely week In your beautiful cottage/Casa!

Calm and relaxing place
The house had all that is needed, and in addition a bread oven and an outdoor fire place. There are plenty of mallorquinian earthen ware to directly cook in the fire, this was a great experience. The owner provided us with oranges and lemons from his orchard twice, and Mari organised everything perfectly.

Rural property to get away from it all
A lovely quiet property within a short drive to facilities of Fornalutx and Soller (one of my favourite areas), plus a great base to explore the wider mountain range. We would have liked to explore some of the walking trails in the area, but the lovely weather was just too hot! Mari made us feel very welcome (even at our very late time of arrival and remained a message away from any other help/information that we needed - a perfect host!

The whole valley all to ourselves!
This house is fantastic if you are really looking for peace and quiet. At first we were surprised, the silence was deafening - just birds chirping, the bells of the sheep and the occasional frog croaking, no internet. An idyll! Tomeo, the owner, gave us a very friendly welcome and brought us a basket full of oranges and lemons from his garden. One morning he surprised us with croissants for breakfast from the great bakery in Fornalutx - very nice! It was really hard to say goodbye to this extraordinary place after a week. :-)

Beautiful peaceful location
The rural setting of this typical Mallorcan house is in the most perfect setting amongst ancient olive trees with views of the mountains from every window. Sheep were our neighbours. The inside is fairly basic but adequately equipped.You will want to spend more time outside than in. Take care on the track down to the house if you don't want to damage a tyre as we did!. Local restaurant at the Mirador) (5 minutes drive) is friendly and good value.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, es bstand jederzeit die Möglichkeit d en Besitzer oder die Agentur zu kontaktieren. Es war woe beschrieben. Ein uriges Steinhaus im Tramuntana Gebirge, Schafe als einzige Mitbewohner. DIe Einrichtung war einfach, aber zweckmässug, es fehlte nichts. Einziges Manko waren die vielen Mücken, gegen die noch nicht einmal die einheimischen Mittel halfen. Man konnte viele Orte von dort aus in kurzer Zeit ereichen. anfahren oder aber einfacen.zweckmässig

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub in der Natur. Das Haus ist ein schönes altes Steinhaus mit viel Charme. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war sehr herzlich und schön. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Wunderschönes Haus in den Bergen
Einzigartiges Haus idyllisch gelegen und ein super Ausgangsort, um das Tramuntana Gebirge zu erkunden. Wer Ruhe und Zeit zum Abschalten sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die einzigen „Mitbewohner“ im Tal sind Schafe, Grillen und Frösche. Besonders toll ist auch die Außenküche mit Sitzgelegenheit.

Was noch vorhanden ist, sind diese drei herrlichen, robusten traditionellen mallorquinischen Merkmale: die Stille (mit Blick auf die majestätischen Berge), die wundervolle Umgebung und die drei komfortablen Häuser mit Außenküche... Ein perfekter Ort, um das beeindruckende Tramuntana-Gebirge zu entdecken!

Superbes vacances pour 1 semaine près de Fornalutx. Gîte extrêmement calme, sans voisins, sans internet, très propre, tres bien équipé et tres bien placé pour la randonnée dans la tramuntana

Wunderbare Finca, absolute Ruhe
Ziemlich weit den Berg rauf liegt die Finca in einem Hochtal. Einzige Geräuschquelle ist die MA-10, wo tagsüber regelmäßiger Verkehr herrscht. Gegen Abend, nix, nada, nothing. Allein die Schafe und Ziegen blöken dann bisweilen ihr debiles Lied 😁. Bedeutet aber auch: kein einziger Weg ohne Auto. Also nix vergessen beim Einkaufen (in Fornalutx oder Soller). Ein Highlight ist die Outdoorküche. Haben wir reichlich genutzt, zum kochen, backen, quatschen und chillen. Mari, die Vermieterin ist super nett und immer zu erreichen. Naja, wenn man denn die wenigen Spots findet, wo man überhaupt Netz hat. 3G findet doch hie und da, 5G weiter oben das Grundstück hoch. Aber wenig Bandbreite, dafür geht das Telefon auf maximale Sendeleistung. Man kann den Akku bei schmelzen beobachten. Aber ehrlich: ich hab’s genossen. Fazit: ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen, mit den Widrigkeiten muss man klarkommen können/ wollen.

Un endroit superbe
Un vrai plaisir de passer ces deux semaines à Es Clot. L'endroit est superbe et le calme au rendez-vous. La maison est bien équipée et spacieuse, la cuisine d'été est très agréable et permet de passer de bons moments et de longues soirées à l'extérieur. Mari est très accueillante et les propriétaires sont très réactifs.Si nous retournons à Mallorca c'est sûr que nous retournerons à Es Clot.
