"5 stars! The Base is extremely close to the main train station and the gondola, all a few steps out the door. The apartment was pleasantly clean and had a ski room to store my gear. The friendly gentleman at the front was super helpful and accommodating, he made the entire stay a wonderful experience for me. I will definitely come back to this property. "

It had just snowed and we were captivated by the stunning views of the Eiger and surrounding peaks; a postcard-worthy panorama that seemed almost too good to be true. The charm of the hotel begins with its warm and welcoming staff, who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is flawless. The two brothers are amazing and treat everyone like family. Every interaction was friendly and genuine, making me feel right at home. They even upgraded us to a panoramic suite. My room was a cozy modern retreat, blending traditional Swiss alpine aesthetics with contemporary touches. The balcony view was the highlight, offering a private slice of paradise where I could unwind while soaking in the majesty of the mountains. For outdoor enthusiasts, the location is unbeatable. Whether you're hiking, skiing, or exploring Grindelwald, everything is within easy reach. After a day of adventure, the hotel’s tranquil ambiance provides the perfect place to relax and recharge. The jacuzzi and sauna for a small fee is a really amazing experience. And the serve you drinks there too!"
