"It was unbelievable. We had the Marine Corps ball 249 years birthday. It was a beautiful vent in the hotel. Did it magnificently if you ever have a chance to stay at this hotel you will not be unhappy great hotel more like a place where you see people that are family. "

"4 adult siblings gathered for one’s 60th bday. 1st time here and I loved it. Loved the rooms with the 2 doors and everyone gets the same view and a patio/balcony. Don’t know if it was the beds or mountain air but I slept great. Very crowded as there was a wedding on site that weekend which made the restaurant/bar service very slow and busy but I’m not gonna bash anyone for that. Could have had more than one bartender though. We ate dinner twice and breakfast buffet once and the food was very good. No fridge or microwave in room but we had coolers and had a little bday party in the room. It’s an older lodge but is updated with plenty of lighting and plugs(3 prong) so you can bring some of your own small appliances if you’re driving(fan, electric kettle….). Always had hot water in the shower. Walls a little flimsy so bring some earplugs We also had amazing weather and peak leaf season It is not a fancy 5 star place but I found it perfect for all of us"
