Location just off the beaten track, close enough to enjoy the new Forrest without long drives, far enough out to not have too many people around.
Lodge is big, comfortable, spacious, really well furnished and clean. Hot tub was perfect. Highly recommend the arrival breakfast package, and the lovely touch of freshly cooked bread and cake was a great welcome gift! Highly recommend and will be going back to stay again.
Can’t rate this place enough! The lodges are down the lane so you feel secluded (even with others staying in the lodges I didn’t notice at all) and surrounded by lakes, was great for me and my dog not only to visit the new forest nearby but having such a great ans dog friendly lodge and ample space to take him for quick toilet breaks! My lodge had a hot tub and spa bath too which was enjoyed! The thoughtful touches weren’t un noticed (firewood and instructions, tons of information on local food and things to do, home made bread and cake!) was perfect for us, thank you so much!
What a great place. The team are so friendly and helpful. In advance of our trip, we were sent lots of helpful info. Check in was fast and easy. The setting is stunning. The lodge and hot tub spotless and with everything we needed as a family. It was great to have a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. We absolutely loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. Would love to go again.
We had a perfect stay at New Forest Lodges. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The lodges were well appointed, comfortable and unique. We enjoyed the hot tub, very relaxing with lovely views. The extra touches of home made lemon drizzle cake and bread were delicious snd appreciated. We would like to come back with friends.

Quiet, rural location with immediate access to lovely walks and nature
VERY highly recommended: don't be fooled by the entrance of the farm, that can look deceptively rough: you turn the corner and it's... unbelievable. The cabins are very nicely setup, hot tub kept in pristine condition, great comfort, very quiet. Nice jig of milk and lemon cake and bread to welcome us: Wow!! Simply excellent! Worth every penny especially if you can convert some coupons like we did.
Truly brilliant stay in a lovely area of the uk, on arrival there was some cake and bread which was lovely, and we took the breakfast pack which I cant recommend enough! Possibly the best bacon I've ever had, all from their farm. The lodge is really nicely equipped, and the hot tub is just superb. Our kids loved this and coupled with a little walk around the various ponds with all manner of wildlife around we all had a great time. The owners who run the lodges and the farm are great too and even gave me a lift on the last day to get my car. Truly brilliant stay, and well worth the review!! Ps - the farm shops offerings looked incredible!!
We loved this cottage! It is a truly beautiful area off the main road. Surrounded by several scenic ponds and many trails. The owners recommended a lovely walk to a nearby village, and it was fun exploring the British countryside. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The secluded hot tub was an added bonus. We also loved having 2 ensuites.
Absolutely wonderful stay, they have it spot on. What a little gem.
Couldnt fault anything about our stay, apart from too short.
Please book & enjoy the tranquility that we did!
Feb half term stay, family of 4 plus 3 dogs. 10/10
We are a family of 4 with 5 and 6 year olds plus 3 dogs. The weather was dry but cold and we stayed for 3 nights. We all had a lovely time and would go back in a heartbeat. We were even tempeted to extend our stay unfortunately we Couldn’t change our plans. The lodge is well maintained, clean and has everything you need for an escape. Clean beds, soft towels and ample of them. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, freezer, washing tablets, tea towels and washing up liquid. Sounds silly but so many don’t provide these basics and you end up going shopping as first port of call. Added bonus of cake loaf and bread waiting for your arrival. Dogs are charged at an additional £2.50 per dog per night, which isn’t a problem as we were just greatful that with 3 dogs we could all be together. The owners were quick to reply to our emails although would benifit from more info on their website and Facebook pages as found we had to search for details and couldn’t find what we needed.
The hot tub is safe and clean and plenty big enough for 4-6 including space to swim around.
Loads of space, nice to escape from phone signal and WiFi.
We walked the dogs in the morning around the pond and sat around the log fire and in hot tub at night.
Would have liked the animals to have been more visitor friendly, nice to see the working farm but didn’t feel like a traditional farm stay which is a shame. The kids would have enjoyed this if more accessible.
Overall we loved our stay.
