Lontano da Sondrio
Ho prenotato questo hotel per passare una sola notte di passaggio per Sondrio. Expedia dà l'hotel a 16,87km da Sondrio (ripeto sedici virgola ottantasette km), cioè abbastanza vicino. In realtà la distanza è misurata in linea d'aria, mentre in mezzo c'è una bella montagna. La reale distanza è di oltre 100km (sì proprio oltre cento km)! Una volta arrivati a Sondrio, abbastanza tardi per la verità, verso le 8 di sera, abbiamo dovuto rinunciare ad andare in questa struttura perché sarebbero state necessarie altre 2 ore e mezza in auto. Per la verità il Direttore dell'Hotel ci aveva già preannunciato la difficoltà del percorso da Sondrio a Foppolo, ma pensavo che fosse possibile trovare una via alternativa: no, sono proprio più di 100km! Il Direttore è stato gentilissimo, ha lasciato le chiavi pronte per l'abitazione, mi ha chiamato diverse volte per sapere a che punto ero: insomma estremamente attento, gentile e disponibile. Alla fine abbiamo dovuto ripegare su una soluzione appena fuori di Sondrio, rinunciando al Cornostella di Foppolo. Trovo incredibile e ingiustificabile che Expedia dia indicazioni così erronee sulla distanza dell'hotel.
