"We had an absolute fantastic time at the farm. Our host Micheal was very accommodating and was an all around gentleman. The facilties were in perfect condition and the rooms were very clean. The room has a fantastic view - the pictures don't do it justice. The animals were a definite highlight of our stay. We got the chance to feed the animals twice everyday. Our daughter loved it! This is a perfect spot whether you are a solo traveler, with a partner, or with kids. Highly recommend it."

Instead of stating to enter code and push door, tell patrons to enter door and turn knob while the button on the knob is still green. It was, honestly, a bit confusing. Other than that, everything was excellent!"

"We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. "Enjoyed my stay and the greater Salisbury area. There is noise from the neighboring busy road, making some sleeping a little difficult. But the flat was a good size and comfortable. The kitchen adequately supplied. It was especially nice to have a clothes washer handy. A bathroom mirror is needed. A good space for one or two but no more as extra bed linens are not supplied for the couch."

"The property was very convenient as in the high street of Castle Cary so close by to all amenities and as our son lives just behind the high street we were able to get together for a family reunion over the Easter weekend. All the rooms on the first floor being the kitchen,two double bedroom's, bathroom and shower room were all well equipped however on the top floor where you had to duck going up the stairs the two bedrooms were linked together making it unsuitable for four adults...

There is a large car park around the block from the apartment - handy information to know ahead of time as we drove past the property a few times before determining there was no driveway. The VRBO site noted close to public transportation- bus to London right outside the door! Close to dining options, and there is a nice supermarket at the car park area. "

"What a lovely property, full of character. The owners couldn't do enough for us and were very friendly. Each bedroom has an en suite. The lounge, dining area and well equipped kitchen were perfect for the 10 of us to cook and eat together. We walked into Bradford upon Avon (10-15 mins) which was a beautiful town and so easy to get the train into Bath. Thank you!"
