Governors Inn Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"Everything was as it should be: comfortable, quiet, friendly staff. The bonuses were the free shuttle to and from the airport, and the included continental breakfast.
The extra pluses were the convenience store across the road for basics, plus a McDonald’s and Denny’s very close by…plus the number 11 bus from right outside going to the downtown area every 30 minutes or so. It takes less than 10 minutes….it is walkable, about 40 minutes I think, but it’s not a particularly pleasant area to walk in.
The only negative, and it didn’t affect me, was the location of the coffee pot in the room, well, in room 128 at least. It was impossible to pour water in from its location, and the short power cord made it difficult to move somewhere more convenient. I don’t drink coffee, and no tea bags were provided, so it didn’t affect me personally, but others might find it an issue
Apart from that minor thing, everything else was terrific."
