Dolphin Watch - Beachfront - Charming - Cozy - Boho hotel!

This oceanfront 1 bedroom 1 bath condo is both charming and cozy. It features hardwood floors, a gas log fireplace, new kitchen cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances travertine counter in the bath with a vessel sink and new custom tiled walk in shower. This condo is an end unit located on the third (top) floor of the building which gives you more privacy and a wonderful ocean breeze for those warm summer nights. You can enjoy both beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the covered porch as you watch the dolphins play.

There is a private boardwalk over the dunes right on to the beach. The Folly Fishing Pier is just steps away and you are only one block from downtown 'Funky Folly'. Walk to the many wonderful restaurants, bars and beach shopping. Also, downtown Charleston is only 12 miles away if you choose to venture off the beach.

This is the owners' personal condo. We enjoy the unit often and even got married here. We hope you will enjoy your stay here as much as we do!

Overall Enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed the location and the property itself. We were so close to the ocean and the pier as well as local restaurants and shops. The property manager was responsive and communicated well with us. We would stay here again.

October Stay
My husband I stayed and thought the place was exactly as advertised. Great central location to all the restaurants and right on the beach. It was a short car ride to Charleston, which was super convenient.

WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE ....... I can honestly say we savor every minute u til we had to leave. Everything was perfect!!!! I'm an anxious to go back .... close to everything and most of all the commendations were AWESOME and their place has so much character!!!!

Great Beach Location
Clean unit with a great view of the ocean and pier from its balcony. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Close to Bert's Market. Easy access to the beach and dedicated onsite parking. Would book again.

Wonderful stay
We came for our baby moon and our stay was so relaxing, we ended up changing our travel plans to extend 3 extra days. The location was could not have been better, private access to the beach and within walking distance to everything. The condo was perfect for just the two of us. Stacy was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond.

Nice set up for a couple. Listing pictures paint a true picture of amenities and set up of the unit. The location can't be beat, with the beach at your front door and restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Great location, very close to downtown. Well within walking distance. Beach access was great. Got our exercise walking up and down the steps, but well worth it. Loved being able to walk out door and see the ocean. Fishing pier is just a short walk away. Property was very clean.

Folly beach fun.
Delightful condo. Perfect for a couple. One block from a grocery store and less than half a mile from restaurants and shops. Please note that there is no elevator, so you must walk up 3 flights of stairs. Kitchen was equipped with plenty to fix meals. We would definitely stay here again.

We just love Folly Beach and wanted to be right on the beach this time. Although the porch was extremely nice as was the view, i felt like there might have been an animal in the condo so i had a reaction. Since the listing said no pets allowed, i thought there had been no pets at all. Great locations though

Such a peaceful place!
We had a wonderful stay at this adorabe beach condo! The water was warm and beautiful and we were able to sit and enjoy the view on the porch all day. The view is the best in the complex because you are on the top floor and have the covered porch. Everything inside the condo was just as stated and the local food and bars were fantastic! We took both a paddleboarding tour as well as a boat tour with flipper finders and found both to be better than expected. We saw so many dolphins! We would definately reccomend staying in this condo and hope to be back in years to come!! Thanks for a great stay!

Love the location! Perfect for a small family!
Washer and dryer was so nice to have with young children! Especially with all of the sand from the beach! Shower/tub needs to be updated. No plug for bath and shower door keeps falling off track. If there is a problem, owner is ON IT! Great communication and quick to respond if problems or questions!

Great location
The condo location is really great - a few doors down from the pier and walkable to everything in Folly Beach. You walk down the stairs, across a wooden pathway and you're on the beach. We had some mechanical/repair issues and the owner was responsive. Be sure to bring your own soap for the shower as well as shampoo, conditioner as they are not provided. There was hand soap, some dishwasher tabs and laundry tabs which was very handy. The location would make this a great place for a longer stay. You do have to walk up 3 flights of stairs so if mobility is an issue, this would not be a good selection but if you want to be right on the beach and a few blocks from everything - including Bert's - this is a good choice.

50 steps to small, not cleaned upon arrival condo on beach with NO beach towels or chairs. Property manager said we would get a credit for cleaning???? Wish property manager had checked condo before our arrival. Will NOT rent again.

The view is amazing! The condo on the other hand was just ok. The keypad door knob was loose and about falling off the front door. It wasn’t as clean as you would expect. We found someone’s fake fingernail on the living room floor. When I ran the dishwasher there was still a soap in it. I’m not sure the dishes we had been eating off of were actually clean. There was no tv in the bedroom. We had to buy toilet paper while we were there because there was only one roll for a five day stay. I got an email from the host giving me information about our stay at 10pm when our checkin was 10 am. I was not impressed with this property, but again, the view of the ocean was amazing!

Perfect location
The most wonderful thing about this condo is the balcony view of the ocean and it is right on the beach with easy access to the sand and waves. We enjoyed amazing sunrises and on the day it was stormy the large window provided a great view of the rough waves crashing against the pier. The dolphins and surfers were also enjoyable to watch. We walked to the restaurants and a market so there was no need to move our car. So very convenient! The condo is an end unit which makes it nice and private with the best views! Be aware that there are 3 floors of steps that you must climb to get to the condo in case you have mobility issues, however this was not a problem for us. The king bed was comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with what we needed. The shower with the rain shower head was nice and we always had plenty of hot water. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely chose to stay here again. I am sure in the morning I will miss the sunrise and the sound of the waves!

Folly Condo
The property is in a wonderful location with great views. It is close to great restaurants, it’s on the beach, It’s close to the pier. It would have been nice to know before hand that there were 49 steps from the ground level to the condo level. For someone older with artificial joints, it was a struggle to carry all our luggage to the condo. I should have been more aware and realized that there wasn’t an elevator before booking. Once in the condo it was surface clean but could use a deep cleaning. It also needs some things repaired. There is an outlet cover missing, an outlet that was worn to the point that it wouldn’t hold a phone charger, the bathroom faucet barely has a trickle of water coming out when on full, the shower curtain has mold starting to grow along the bottom etc. We really appreciated that it was smoke free but a lot of other people sat on the decks and smoked to the point we weren’t able to enjoy our deck and beautiful views. We did have a cockroach run across the kitchen floor and run under the dishwasher before we could kill it. We did only see one.
