It’s tough to find a better view of the sands of Folly Beach than the top floor of the Charleston Oceanfront Villas at this vacation rental on Folly Beach. This 3 bedroom & 3 bath condo is a delightful, top tier experience. This villa is elegant and whimsical all in the same stroke. The living and dining rooms utilize a mint green color on the walls. Combined with glass containers and replicas of famous tall ships, you feel as if you are underwater although you are four stories above it. Open the curtains to reveal the lengthy oceanfront balcony and the endless view of the Atlantic Ocean, and the fantasy is complete. The kitchen was renovated to include custom cherry wood cabinets, new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Tile floor runs throughout the hall bathroom, kitchen and living area. The master bedroom also has an ocean view as well as private access to the balcony at this Folly Beach vacation condo for rent. The bathroom comes with a his/her sink, a roomy tub and a separate shower. The other two bedrooms boast their own full bathrooms.

Step out onto the balcony or simply open a door and let the soothing sounds of the ocean breeze and waves gently crashing ashore be your personal soundtrack to pure relaxation. It is a simple walk or elevator ride downstairs to dig your toes into the Folly Beach sand or to take a dip in the beach side pool. The oceanfront pools at the Villas are open seasonally each year from April 1- October 31!

Starting in the fall of 2024, the HOA of the Charleston Oceanfront Villas is set to begin a construction project to replace all oceanfront sliding doors in the building. This project will happen stack by stack, beginning on units ending in -23, and working toward the pier. There will be scaffolding up over each stack as work begins, and there may be loud noises associated with heavy work. Each section is blocked off according to work schedules, but construction times will vary based on weather conditions.

Great location with the beach and restaurants/shops all within walking distance. Property is a bit dated and it is time for new mattresses/pillows (at least the queen bed). We had other family members in a nearby condo which was certainly nicer (recently updated)

Location and View
There was some good and bad with the property. Starting with the view. It is incredible being on the top floor and it seems like you can see forever in both directions. The location is very nice as well. You can walk a few block to many restaurants in the area. The property is dated and there is some fairly major ceiling damage due to roof leaks. There is also wallpaper coming off the walls in many locations. The areas that have been updated have been done well. The furniture and beds are all comfortable and the credit on the rental equipment is an added bonus.

Unit needs some TLC Ceilings have water damage from unit above in two bedrooms, wallpaper peeling off the walls and held together with scotch tape. The elevator for the entire complex is super slow and has not been inspected for over 3 years. You pay an exorborant amount for a cleaning fee and expected to do most of the work yourself.

My mom, sister, niece and I stayed and we had a great time visiting Charleston and relaxing at the pool or beach. It was a great location to walk to restaurants and easy drive into Charleston. Would stay their again and highly recommend it!.

This is the fourth time staying at Charleston Ocean Villas…the first in this condo. We love the area…quiet but close to downtown Charleston is walk, see historical houses, shop etc. The photos are accurately depicted. The view from the balcony is amazing.. We will most definitely be back.

Everything was incredible, with the exception of one thing. The cookware was so old and difficult to use. The nonstick pans were missing their nonstick and/or handles. It made for cooking a bit stressful. But it was very clean and comfortable. And being right in the beach was incredible.

We had a wonderful family vacation
Lot to like about the condo. Comfortable and clean although kids complained that there was sand in two twin beds when we arrived — so not sure. Being in the heart of Folly Beach has its advantages but it is crowded (compared say to the Isle of Palms). Overall,, family really enjoyed our stay: Good memories. Thanks.
