"We love staying at Kapetan Tasos. Our room was immaculate with incredibly comfortable beds. The showers were strong. The views from the room were lovely and it was a short walk to the beach, to beach bars and to the main town of Pollonia. The light breakfast served every morning was lovely. I would highly recommend."

"The family made us feel extremely welcome as did their staff. They were helpful, kind and professional. The location was great half way between iOS town, the beaches and Chora. The apartment was really well designed and furnished. We loved being there and hope to return. My only comments would be the mattress was a little past its best and the kitchen was quite basic . Really small complaints though and would thoroughly recommend Drimoni. "

"This was the best place we stayed on our whole island hopping trip. Not only was the hotel in a great location, but just the little details made all the difference. Recyclable toothbrushes and a sewing kit just when I needed to fix something. Extra pillows available in case you can’t sleep with one. Where other places give you the near minimum, the Almira Inn goes that extra mile. Breakfast was lovely too and Calypso the cat was difficult to say goodbye to. If we are ever back in Ios we will...

"Giannis was very attentive and customer oriented. He actually drove us to our room in 2 groups. The reason I rated the overall trip at 2 stars was the billing problem. "My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. Checking in was a hassle due to a wrong number listed for the hotel reception in the information provided. However, the location more than made up for it. Elephant Beach, right next to the rental room, is the most beautiful beach on the island in my opinion. The room itself was quite basic, but the views were fantastic. While there was a lot of traffic noise near the room, I still believe the rooms were good value for the price"
