"We always have a pleasant and relaxing stay on Emerald Isle. There are plenty of comfortable beds for our family gathering and so much beauty outside. Kayaks are a highlight as well as early morning coffee looking out over the water and cypress trees. "

"Spent 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend with our 2 teenagers at this sweet little cabin. The cabin is nice and cozy and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, the screened patio is perfect to have your meals and enjoy the sounds of the swamp around. There is a firepit on the little peninsula behind the cabin were we spent most of our time outdoors. "Although we had bad weather, the cottage was cozy and comfortable. Very conveniently located."

"The host was extremely communicative and offered access to kayaks, a paddle board, and a canoe to check out the local lake, which I would highly recommend. The area is quiet and about 20-25 mins from downtown Shreveport eateries and attractions. There are a few other cabins that are quite close, but the other guests staying there were quiet and courteous. Overall great experience."

"Very quiet. TV remotes, difficukt to operate, tv in bedroom turned on but no channels..oh well we spent most of time outdoors just needed for news and raining down time. Front door handle very loose. Ice maker no cubes. Entry road ruff. Comfortable and clean."

"Great cabin for me and my sons. We spent 2 days fishing. Easy place close to cabin to launch our boat. Quiet. Also ate at the nearby Mexican restaurant which was great with fast service."

"The property is beautiful. The back yard that overlooks the lake and the home looks like the pictures listed. Our family has vacationed in a few VRBO properties and this one had the most bells and whistles and had the best stocked kitchen of any we have stayed in. Our grandchildren had a great time in the pool, loved the games, the master bathroom and they didn't want to leave. The hosts were very kind and check in was very easy.
