"This was my sixth stay at Mälardrottningen, so obviously I’m a fan. It’s been a few years since my last stay and there have been some changes, the reception area has been relocated and the restaurant has been updated. It’s all very nice looking but requires that you drag your luggage up a metal ramp to check in. And as before, the stairs are short and somewhat steep so hang on to the hand rail. "It's good for what it is: an affordable, well-located place to sleep and shower while visiting Stockholm. That said, it was initially a bit tricky to find, and I underestimated how much I in fact do need a window and TV in my room. If you are OK with that, then you should totally consider CityBox for your visit."

"I booked 2 apartments, but I was not let in and the owner wasn't helpful. I had to get hotels.com re-imburse the payment while I had to book somewhere else. This was a very annoying experience. I would not recommend Optimal Apartments, but hotels.com was very helpful. "

"ill start with the good points. the wifi is fast, and the rooms while basic, are very very clean. the bad points. the reception is only manned until 2-3pm each day. there is nothing nearby other than the hospital, and a fast food outlet that closes at 8pm for food, there is no food in the hotel other than breakfast. a poor breakfast is served in the corridor on the 5th floor. there is a small 1 ring hot plate for cooking in your room, but, nothing to cook with! this hotel is very, very basic. it is nothing more than a hostel, with a large disabled toilet / wet room in each room. booked a double room, given two tiny small single beds. the whole "hotel" is situated within an apartment block and another business, the hotel only has around 30 rooms, and the whole thing smells like a hospital. the rooms are very hot, with no air con. the whole area outside the hotel felt very unsafe after dark. the pictures of the room are not a true representation, the are even more basic and shabby than the pictures. the local prisons in sweden are better than the rooms in this hotel. "

"We couldnt stay at the "hotel", when we arrived there we got harrased by old people who lived there, the building where the hotel is located is shared with a hospital for psychologist treatment, we tried to cancel it and the owner refused even tho we had proof of the guy who assaulted us, my girlfriend was terrified by that experience, stay away from this place, we wanted to save money as you may if this hotel shows up on your list but its not worh it "
