Hello! My name is Nik Doda and I am your host! I am the Italian-American owner of this luxury apartment which is located in one of the most prestigious areas of the city. Located on the ground floor of a deluxe building no elevator is required. This location is the most desirable, as it is within easy walking distance to the city center as well as convenient public transportation. Pay parking is easily available close by. The building is from the 1800's with original frescoes and other details.

This deluxe ground floor apartment has been fully renovated recently with every modern amenity. Even the 18th century frescoes have been lovingly restored by a local artist! This luxury apartment has HEATED floors throughout and consists of 1 double bedrooms and 1 marble bathroom with a rain shower. The bedroom has one American Queen size bed suitable for 2 people. There is an open plan kitchen with a dining table, a living area with a sofa and HD TV. Ideal for one couples (no children or infants please) for a short or medium term rental. This elegant apartment close to the new Opera house and Cascine Park, is fully sound-proof and is the perfect choice for a wonderful experience in Florence.

In this apartment you will find a clothes washer & dryer, hairdryer, oven, fridge, toaster, microwave, espresso coffee maker and gas cooker and all necessary kitchenware. Linens and towels are provided. Please treat everything as if it were in your own home and clean up after yourself.

Air conditioning & Heating is at your disposal. When you are not in the apartment, please turn off all the lights, heating and air conditioning.

Cleaning is included for each rental up to 7 nights. If you are going to stay longer than 7 nights then there will be an extra cleaning charge in cash, payable upon arrival, for every extra 7 nights stay or part thereof. This fee includes cleaning and change of linens and towels.

I follow enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:

I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines

Beautiful property in Florence
We have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and this might be the MOST comfortable property we have even stayed in. It is a very large one bedroom and incredibly well appointed. We could have comfortably stayed for a month. It is a little outside of the center of Florence, but in a stunning area right on the river. If you enjoy walking you can stroll along the river right into the central area of town. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Florence.

Wonderful apartment!
My daughter and I stayed here for a week to attend a wedding. Nik was very helpful and provided a lot of information from start to finish. He met us promptly at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment is beautiful and provided everything we may have needed and more. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet at night. The apartment is very secure as both the front door and apartment door lock with deadbolts. There is also a great restaurant right next door, the Borderline. We had dinner there and it was outstanding. The apartment is about a 15 miinute walk to the city center and the attractions. Overall we loved this apartment and would highly recommend it and would stay there again should we be in Florence.us

Highly recommend! Nik was a gracious host. The space was perfect for us and very clean. We were able to walk everywhere. Bedroom was very spacious and bathroom very nice. Large full length mirror in hallway with outlet right beside. Very helpful in getting ready. If you are a couple looking for a great place to stay in Florence, book this!

This was wonderful in every way. The unit was sparkling clean, completely updated and without question the nicest place we stayed during our 15 day Italy vacation. Nik was a delight and helped us from the start - in protecting our car - and making recommendations for places to dine. He also gave some recommendations for Venice, his original home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Florence and our interaction with Nik!

Beautiful apartment!
Spacious clean and very modern. Had a washer and dryer that was also helpful during a 3 week trip to Italy. My only complaint was the thermostat was set at a specific temperature and couldn't be lowered. The first couple of nights it was warm and stuffy. After the weather cooled it was much more manageable to sleep. Overall though it was a beautiful apartment.

Great Stay in Florence
This apartment was very nice! It’s in a quieter part of Florence, Italy. It is close the river and the US Consulate. The apartment has a large bedroom, access to a washer/dryer, and every other amenity anyone would need for a relatively short stay. The owner is extremely nice and very helpful, giving vacation tips to anyone who asks. This is truly a five star stay.

Nik/Mandy were exceptional hosts. They stayed in contact with me leading up to the trip, provided recommendations for activities, dining, and transportation. Elegance and luxury in the city centre of Florence
Beautifully decorated place , high cellings, excellent location ( walking distance to all the attractions, Duomo, supermarkets and restaurants), super clean, brand new appliances, well equipped . It was very safe to walk in the evening, and very convenient to absolutely everything. Beautiful, great location!!
If you are planning a trip to Florence, I highly recommend Nik’s apartment! My husband and I were staying in Florence for 4 days and we loved the apartment for many reasons. The location is perfect for walking along the river as you head into the main area of Florence. We walked to everything, the indoor market, the duomo, street vendors, etc. the apartment itself is lovely and spacious. We felt like we had room to unpack and settle in. Nik’s communication was excellent and his recommendations were fabulous. We went to one of the restaurants he suggested and asked for the owner like he recommended we do, and we were able to get a table even though we had no reservation and there was a line up! All in all, it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this place. We are looking forward to coming back to Florence again and will definitely be booking Nik’s apartment again!

This is a wonderful property if you’re looking to stay not in the city center but within walking distance, there is amazing shops and grocery stores nearby. It’s only about a 10 to 15 minute they walk to the city center in the train stations only about five minutes.

This property was even more spectacular than the pictures. Renovated with modern decor and was extremely clean and spacious. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit. The location was excellent and very safe on a quiet street within walking distance of everything you need or want to see. Nik was a great host - sent us a list of things to do and restaurants in the area ahead of time, which was helpful. He met us promptly at the property as we arrived and was very helpful and communicative throughout the stay. Gorgeous apartment
The pictures are true to the appearance of the apartment but once you are in there, it’s even better than expected. Ground floor, quiet area, beautiful furnishings. Everything like brand new. The bedroom is amazing because the ceiling is restored fresco and lying in bed looking up, is a real treat! The lighting in the apartment and every last detail is pretty much perfection. The host, Nic, was both gracious and helpful. It is not located in the very center of Florence, but close to the river and down a ways from the center. We walked a lot into the center but took a taxi back at night after a long day of walking. The area is safe and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

A beautiful apartment for two. Perfect in so many ways! Location, Location Location. Only 20 minutes to Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, and the most beautiful of all "The David". Remember to by tickets and get semi or private tours they are worth every Euro. The apartment is furnished with all your comfort needs and the bedroom is like your in a palace with the fresco ceiling. Supermarket 10 minute walk. Your first night go next door to the Boardeline restaurant you won't be disappointed. Last words...you won't be disappointed

Best Experience, beautiful property!
Words can’t describe how excellent this stay and host are… but I’ll try!! From the very beginning when I booked this property the owner Nik was in communication with me, which made me feel at ease! The check-in information was accurate and Nik was there to meet us and fully walked us through the property. We were fortunate to be able to check-in early, which I realize is not always possible due to cleaning times, but definitely a plus after such a long day of traveling. The property was beautiful and very comfortable, in a safe area and close enough to walk along the Arno River to the central area where all of the must see sites are! Nik was very responsive throughout our entire stay and offered great information and even arranged a taxi pickup for our early morning tour! It was a pleasure to stay in beautiful Florence and I’d highly recommend this property to friends and if I’m ever back I will certainly stay here again ( or one of your other properties ). Thanks Nik for a most enjoyable and worry free stay!!
