Beautiful and large apartment in great location, overlooking Ponte Vecchio

The apartment lies in one of the neatest areas of Florence downtown, called Oltrarno, in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants, arts and crafts shops and walking distance to all the major monuments and churches.
What makes it unique and stunning is the specific location, waterfront, along the Arno river and with an incredible view of the Ponte Vecchio, just a few meters away. All the living areas, including the dining room face the river and the Ponte Vecchio while the bedrooms are on the other side of the apartment, on Borgo San Jacopo.
There are 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, each with its own bathroom, all with shower. There is air conditioning in the living room and in the three bedrooms. There is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.
All utilities are included in the rental fee, the only extra fee to pay at check-in in cash is the tourist tax which is 5,50 euro per person per night up to 7 days.

Florence visit
We were very happy with our stay at this property. The space is large and easily accommodated our family. Location was fabulous. It was close to the craziness of the tourist area but right up against a quaint neighborhood we have stayed at and loved many times. The host was great and accessible to answer questions when we needed to.

Perfect location and a beautiful view. The price is excellent for the location and the 3 bedrooms and baths. The only small complaint is the place could use a little facelift but the price is more than fair.

The owner was waiting and explained everything - the apartment is in a excellent position and great views of the river and bridge. Great sitting at night hearing people sing and you are close to restaurants and fellow attractions - highly recommend very clean home

Perfect location for experiencing Florence
Massimo, the owner, met us, my husband, 2 sons and their girlfriends, all adults over 40 when we got there and showed us around. It was such a beautiful location with windows that opened to small balconies that allowed the music from the nearby Ponte Vecchio to waft in. The apt. was spacious and the only complaint would be the air conditioning in the second bedroom did not work right but otherwise you can not beat the experience of feeling immersed in the beautiful city of Florence.

Excellent location
Well equipped property, very comfortable beds, the aircon was not brilliant, but it was a terribly hot period, so understandable. Host was very responsive and the location looking over the Arno with such a short stroll to the Ponte Vecchio and everything else you could want to see in Florence was perfect.

Wonderful view
This apartment is older but well maintained. I stayed for 35 days, going out to dinner, cooking at “home” and enjoying the view in the living and dining area. There is music from the bridge and some noise from the street, but well worth it for that view. The location is walkable for almost everything. For the experience of living in Italy for a month, this apartment was perfecto.

Wonderful location
It was a perfect location overlooking the river. Nice accommodations and host was helpful in showing us each room. Two things to be aware of…We thought someone would be waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived, as mentioned in our instructions, but instead we had to call and then wait for them to come. Also, the music and voices coming from Ponte Vecchio were wonderful in the evenings but the bedrooms face a noisy street. Consider bringing a white noise machine!

Magical Apartment and Location
Massimo and his team kept in constant contact with us prior to our visit and made for a smooth arrival. The apartment could have been more charming and each day I had to pinch myself be sure I wasn't just dreaming of staying within yards of the Ponte Vecchio and even with the close proximity we weren't bothered by the noise and crowds. I would love to stay here again! Complementi Massimo!

Fantastic location!!
The property was nice and clean, great layout for friends sharing a house or a family with kiddos. Amazing location with great views, it took a matter of minutes to walk anywhere in the city we wanted. It had all the kitchen essentials, even sharp knife’s! Washer and dryer (yes, home does have a dryer) worked great and the host supplied laundry soap for our use. No bathroom shampoo or shower soaps were included, we brought our own but our friends did not. The only downfall of this property was the noise coming from the restaurant close. Loud late night yelling and singing and cars racing by. I think our stay fell on an extended weekend so this may not be the normal but ear plugs were a blessing. The location made up for noise, would bring ear plugs and a sound machine but would stay here again.

You will not believe your view!
This apartment in Florence is right on the water and the picture of the property in the property description is your view of the Ponte Vecchio bridge from the living and dining rooms. It even has small balconies where you can open the glass doors and stand over the water. It could not be in a better location for seeing all the sights in Florence. The apartment was beautiful, very clean, and definitely large enough for our family of 5 adults. The host was also helpful in answering my pre-trip questions. If you are going to be staying in Florence, I highly recommend you rent this apartment. You will not regret it.

Amazing view
The apartment was very clean and spacious. The view was spectacular and you could truly feel the vibe if the city with the glass doors open. Often during our stay, there was spontaneous live music on the Ponte Vecchio and we could enjoy it from the apartment. The bedrooms back up to the street but we were not bothered by street noise. The beds were comfortable and there is a stove top coffeemaker. Lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries close and all of the attractions were close and walkable including the train station. Amenities include a clothes dryer, not just clothes washer which was great as other properties we stayed in only had washers. We visited in October, and while the temperatures were very pleasant, it was humid enough for clothes to take longer than a day to dry making the dryer very helpful. Over all would love to stay again !
