Good location
It's difficult to find the place because the map position doesn't reflect the actual location of the office where you need to get the keys. Service was only mediocre and it's a pretty long haul up 4 flights of stairs to the apartment. Bed is on the upper floor and sitting area and toilet is downstairs. Saving grace is that the location is good and near to central market, shopping street and the places of interest in Florence

I feel that the photos used for the apartment are misleading. The way they are taken give the impression that the sofa bed is in a hall way area instead of the kitchen/main room which is therefore quite cramped. Had I known this I would have gotten and paid for a larger room. Futhermore there was no toilet paper, and it seems to me that there should be at least two rolls. Imagine 4 persons off a plane needing to go to the bathroom and it is night, cold and raining.... and we had to improvise with some Kleenex we used sparingly until We bought paper. Also, the toilet seat was broken. I think the locator was good, and the condition was fine.

It was quiet disappointing experience for us. Finding your accommodation was not straight forward. The address given in their website was not specific which ended us up phoning the reception which I think the office does not exist. In fairness the location was not bad until let down by the welcoming experience. Overall, you need a lot of patience in finding your accommodation.

My wife and I just came from Florence and we absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect, the staff was friendly, Anna gave us amazing advises about he city. The place was super clean. We didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

In proximity of many attractions
The apartment was in proximity of many attractions, restaurant, local market. The room was comfortable but lamps dusty; it did not come with basics such as at least one roll of toilet paper and had no toiletteries. Internet and air conditioner was at an extra cost. The kitchen was was very small to cook for 6; the stove top only allowed for one pot or pan to be used at once. We had to purchase an expresso maker.

In spite emailing for contact number and more information, I was unable to get the number of the person to check us in. Didn't have the correct address. Waited on sidewalk in not so nice neighborhood. Had to pay cash for air conditioning, internet, taxes that double the cost of the stay.

Very noisy neighbours
Firm clean beds at approx £20 per night per person great value for money in Central Florence. This apartment, number 8 has the noisiest italian neighbours on the planet who start shouting at 12 midnight and go on until 3 am several nights during the week. Very clean apartment and excellent for the station and a short walk to the Duomo. Facilities OK but a few things broken like the coffee pot and several light bulbs missing - slightly tired at the end of the season perhaps

Best Hotels.com booking ever!
I have been to Florence many times but this was by far the best place I have stayed. The property owner was so nice. She welcomed us as if we were part of the family. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will for sure be back!

Worst place ever
The hotel/apartment is in a hidden location, not easy to find. Checking in time end at 7pm, which is really inconvenient! If we didn't have a working cellphone to call ahead of time, then we can't even check in after 7pm. No parking space of course, and the nearby garage is very expensive. Very thin walls, we can hear all kinds of noise. And a hidden fee of 35 Euro cleaning fee will be charged, which will only show up after the booking, definitely not worth the money, you can stay in a nice hotel with the rate you paid.

When we took a cab to the address, it looked like a storage unit as a result we went to a second address onl to find out that the first address was indeed correct. The apartment was above the storage unit. The owner/operator did not meet us but there was an employee cleaning the apartment when we arrived...unfortunatley she was unable to asnwer any of our questions. The apartment, itself was clean. The washer came in handy however the "dryer" has a clothes line outside the window. We came to discover that there was an autobody shop below (in back) of the apartment, the fumes were quiter strong on one of our days, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone living with respiratory illnesses.

The apartment was very well located, just a short walk away from all main amenities. The room was clean and spacious enough for two adults, two children 10 and 6 and a baby. Anna was very helpful and went out of her way to give us directions and tips on to what to do and even save money. I'd definitely recommend it if you have a family. only small issue is that there is no lift and it can be a bit tough with a baby's pushchair plus baggage but overall very happy with our stay.

Firs was hard to contact simeone to get in the room, we were stuck in the sidewalk with luggage for about an hour, once they send someone to open we were charged $20.00 euros for WIFI access and the 2 first night were very hot and humid, after asking the owner for the air conditioned remote control she said that in Florence the A/C was not needed...!!!!!so we had a few misserable hot and humid nights....I would not stay again...plenty of rooms and better service around town

My daughter, her fiancé and I chose this place because we wanted to stay in a place with a kitchen and laundry facilities. It made sense to rent an apartment for our stay. The location is wonderful. But the apartment is mediocre. The bathroom shower leaked and there was mould on the shower head. Although this apartment could be a cute and comfortable little suite, it looked like a quickly put together suite in order to bring in rent money. For example, there were no baseboards on one wall in the living room, there was an open pipe in the kitchen area, and the suite was in need of new paint. For the wifi, our contact added the password into our devices. But we had forgotten to include our iPad. I texted the contact to get the password so we could connect the iPad, and she never responded. Overall, we all agreed that we would not stay here again.

The only point that needs to be made is that this is a dishonest listing and we had to hand over significant cash to get our keys even though we already paid through hotels.com and received an email saying our payment was complete. On arrival there was no way in, but a phone number on the door to call. Having no phone we then had to find an internet cafe. The number didn't work. After checking email and the website the 4th number we tried worked. We received instructions on how to enter and settled in. Hours later the landlady showed up and insisted we pay 45 Euro for cleaning and taxes!!! That was for 2 days stay. If we wanted air con and internet it would be another 20 euro! That would almost double what I was paying for two nights. When I questioned all of this she was able to show me this in the listing... but buried at the end of the description. Especially the cleaning fee of 35 Euro is at the very end of the listing. I use hotels.com so that I can trust the product, know the price and it makes payment easy. I don't want impossible check ins and mystery payments when I arrive. At the price I ended up paying I could have stayed in a much nicer hotel in central Florence with real concierge and Wi-Fi! Shame on hotels.com for allowing businesses to advertise deceptively on their site.
