"Overall, a good experience. As the only hotel in a very small town, I didn't know what to expect, but it was clean and comfy. For the first night, we were the only occupants in the entire place, so I think it's fair to say the owners are doing their best with a limited income stream. Positives: AC worked well, everything was secure and it was clean. Breakfast nook was clean, rooms were clean, all very good in that department. "This is not a hotel you want to take your wife to. It is okay for a man on his own but it did not meet my expectations. The staff was friendly. Check in was slow and tedious since I had booked through Hotels.com. The total cost was more than quoted because they charged a service fee for using a credit card. The room itself was clean but the carpet was dirty and the sheets were dirty on one of the two beds. We were supposed to have a room with a queen bed. "

"We brought our two small children and met some friends and family at TinBuck 2. It was exactly as listed and the hosts were fantastic to work with! Views were spectacular and accommodations were just as listed. We would absolutely stay here again! Thanks so much, Barbara and Steve! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was clean, kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was perfect. My daughter and her friends, who attend Tabor college, thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs and played pool every day. I enjoyed the big kitchen to make home cook meals for the college “kids”. The landlord was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Hillsboro or Marion. NOTE: we had been staying in another VRBO rental, which had issues, not the owner’s fault and I found this rental, Laurie was so responsive, accommodated our situation and we were able to change houses the very next day."
