We had a lovely 2 night stay and enjoyed every minute! Rita and Giuseppe could not have been more attentive and were friendly and approachable with a great knowledge of the local area. The hotel is ideally situated within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the central area. Our room had a beautiful ceiling, as did the breakfast room, and the whole place had a very Italian feel, which was exactly what we wanted. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel and this enabled us to feel ‘special’. On arrival our only concern was finding our way in, as there is just a small plaque on the wall outside, with no indication that if you ring the bell further along the wall, someone will buzz the door open. The hotel is on the second floor, reached by a quaint lift with opening doors, or by the stairs. Once we had checked in, this was no longer an issue as our keycard worked for the outside door as well as our room. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope that we can return in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Great location and in fairly close proximity to the centre of town and shopping as well as tourists attractions by foot. The hotel is historic with well maintained historic paintings on the ceilings. Rooms were spacious and clean. Night traffic was minimal, presumably due to closure of the street in front. The neighbourhood was safe to navigate through at night in search of a laundromat, approximately 1.5 km in radius. The host Rita and Giuseppe were exceptional hosts, eager to assist in all our inquiries. Implementation of modern technology while still maintaining its historic heritage, makes this hotel an ideal place. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Firenze. This is fantastic small hotel in a quiet neighborhood off a main road. The hotel is vintage building (150 year old) with original painted ceilings. It's amazingly beautiful, clean and well maintained. You sleep while watching beautifully painted ceiling which is unique experience. The breakfast is really great and plenty of pastries as option.

I really couldn't say enough great things about this place. It's beautiful, close to historic area but most of all the hosts were wonderful! So kind, so helpful and loving. Though it is a hotel it felt like Home.

The property’s and the staff were truly amazing. This is a very small hotel that feels comfortable and has the feel of family. The large rooms and exquisite ceiling paintings from over 150 years ago made waking up and just looking at the ceiling unreal, a true feel of Italy. Everything was clean. Breakfast was enjoyable and you were within a close walk to fantastic restaurants and attractions. I can’t recommend this property enough!!

Excellent and beautiful boutique hotel providing a much appreciated serene environment. Service was impeccable. the only small issue was with hotels.com who confirmed 2 client bookings for the same room, requiring a room change to a smaller room for us for the second night. The room was smaller but very comfortable and lovely, but Hotels.com should take particular care not to double book rooms and inconvenience their clients.

A fantastic hotel just minutes from the centre of Florence. Clean and spacious rooms that are decorated to a high standard. Reception staff are great and full of advice. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Spent 3 days here. Family hotel with 7 guest rooms. Great stay. Bedrooms huge with Sistine Chapel like ceilings. Impeccably clean and fresh. Run by Rita. What a genuine wonderful lady. Felt like part of her family. 15 minute walk to centre Florence. On second storey. Very secure. Hope to stay again some day

Great place but a bit far from the train station a specially if you are trying to walk. There are two busses that go to the station 11 and 17. Over all was a great stay, very clean and comfortable room with a beautiful belcony.
