The shared bathroom was really nice and clean. Loved the area and antiquity of the building, but it can get very loud at night due to the building’s location.

Good value and pleasant stay in heart of Firenze
Hotel is clean and well maintained The room was orderly and functional. Location is a plus for me In Europe 2nd floor really means 4 flights of stairs so be prepared to pull your luggage quite a ways.

I absolutely LOVED IT. It’s located at the second floor of this building or palace. Upon arrival, you KNOW it will be classic, detailed chic…Elegant with details. I loved my bedroom and their bathrooms!!! Thank you Vincenzo for your warm and friendly welcoming. He made sure I was ok at all times. You have coffee and tea in the kitchen area. It’s close to everything since it’s centered in the city.

Great location
Staff were really friendly and check in was smooth. Details were sent on how to find the property which was a bit complicated only thing missing was that you needed to ring doorbell before you got keys ( we worked it out) Really central for Florence, great restaurants nearby. Downside 4 flights of stone steps and no lift also shared toilet and the shower is literally a cubicle in corner of room

What was not mentioned was the property is 500 years old and a former home of the Medici family. Like staying in a palace. For example 15 ft timbered ceilings, large windows withy what looked like original hardware. Definitely a remarkable facility. It is on the second / third floors with no elevator.

Beautiful Firenze.
Great old property and the staff were wonderful. The location was superb, walking distance to central Firenze. You could see the Duomo lit up at night from our window! My only criticism is that the air conditioning was not that affective in the building. But it is to be expected in these old buildings. Great hotel though, would highly recommend.

We had an exceptional stay. The city is splendid. The hotel staff at the reception are lovely. They explained the main attractions and places to visit very well. It's important to know that there is no breakfast service, but there is a coffee machine available from 8 AM to 11 AM and a small fridge to store your market items, orange juice, fruits, etc. Fresh water is always available in the dispenser in the main room. It gets really, really hot in the summer. Even the air conditioning and fan were not enough
