The staff are very kind. Room was a little bit outdated and resembled Europe in the 50s, but there was heat and air conditioning and wifi. Free breakfast was good. We stayed next to the window and definitely heard traffic and honking but the location is great. could see cathedral and duomo from hotel window.

I stayed at Hotel Angelica in Florence, and while the location is convenient, a few things fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi during my stay, which led to additional expenses as I had to find alternate sources for internet access. The mosquitoes in the room were another issue, so I recommend bringing bug spray. My room was located near the dining room and a busy corridor, where travelers were constantly coming and going, so it was not the quietest stay. There was about 4 or 5 keys to remember their unique purpose as the front office is typically closed. That said, if you don’t rely on Wi-Fi and prefer a more traditional, old-fashioned atmosphere, this hotel might suit your needs. But for modern conveniences, you may want to consider other options.

Stay away from this hotel
I stayed at Hotel Angelica for one night. The hotel was not professionally managed or cleaned. Other than one bath size towel, no other amenities were provided. Sink was not working either. The worst part was that they lied about the city tax. Instead of charging 6 euros as specified the city of Florence, they charged me 21 euros. The male owner tried to charge me 41 euros, but I didn't have any cash with me. When I came back with cash, there was a lady and she charged me 21 euros.

One day in Firenze
Extremely friendly staff and location is almost right next to railwaystation a great location to explore the city by walking. Don't set your expectations too high, but it's more than enough for a night! Room was clean and so was the hotel. A small beakfast was included to get your morning started. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue. A one full day in Firenze is enough and this place was perfect choice for a quick visit. I recommend to start your day at Michelangelo piazzale and after breath taking view you should pay a visit at Ponte Vecchio before continuing your journey to city central statues and museums. Perect way to end your day in Firenze is to enjoy a sunset and great view of Domme with a drink at roof top bar of Grand hotel Baglioni. You can find few pubs and night clubs in city centrale. I would recommend to book tickets to domme and Uffizi in advance.

El hotel cuenta con una excelente ubicación tanto de la estación de tren como de las principales atracciones turísticas para realizarlas caminando. La habitación es pequeña y las camas no eran muy cómodas (duras para nuestro gusto) El desayuno que se sirve por las mañanas tiene lo necesario para iniciar el día. Hay café, fruta, pan, jugo, jamón y también ofrecieron huevo y tocino. Un punto a considerar es que después de las 5 PM hay unicamente una persona que da soporte por lo menos a 2 hoteles por lo cual, en caso de llegar al hotel para hacer check-in despues de esa hora es necesario acudir a otro hotel que se encuentra en la misma calle y buscar a la persona para que te reciba. Este fue nuestro caso, afortunadamente nos percatamos de eso por una nota colocada en la entrada del edificio. No fue complicado hacer ésto pero no vi esta aclaración al momento de hacer mi reservación. El hotel se encuentra en el 3er piso ( el edificio no es exclusivo del hotel)
