Pension dans un ancien couvent, très bien situé non loin du palais Pitti et des jardins de Boboli. Chambres un peu petites mais confortables et très propres. Petits déjeuners minimalistes mais corrects. Personnels attentifs et prévenants, parlant français. Seul bémol les chambres donnant sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes et celles sur l'intérieur guère moins à cause de la climatisation.

alojamiento básico. limpio. cama pequeña y ruidosa. ubicación correcta. para viajeros con poco presupuesto y sin necesidad de florituras. en general la habitación y desayuno son algo tristes, pero correctos para una estancia de una noche en plena Florencia por 50€ la individual con desayuno. mi habitación daba al patio interior. afortunadamente sin ruidos molestos de gente ni máquinas. baño pequeño como todo, pero impecable

J’ai adoré dormir dans un couvent! Ce n’est pas un 5 étoiles, mais l’établissement est plein de charme, le personnel est adorable et parle français. Voir à l’accueil pour les parkings payants autour! Petit dej simple mais bon. Centre ville à 15 min à pieds, pratique.

something different
The room & public areas were spotlessly clean & the staff were always friendly & extremely helpful.. No frills but most things one requires in a bedroom apart from much drawer space. We found plenty of choice at breakfast., & it was nice looking out onto the central garden. There is a very good public park very near & only a 15 minute walk to the Boboli Gardens so altogether a good choice for the sensible tourist.

Hidden gem
This is a historic hotel and an experience to stay in it. The hotel was a hospital until 1392 and became a convent after that. It has a wonderful courtyard where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

The hotel is very old, ac does not work, safe deposit did not work, shower is too small, I being small built could barely fit in. The staff is helpful and polite.

Hyggeligt hotel 15 min gang fra Ponte Vecchio
Vi havde et rigtig hyggeligt ophold her. Værelset var småt men havde alt, som vi skulle bruge for at kunne overnatte. Der er stille og ingen larm fra byen af betydning. AirConditionen er dog rigtig gammel og larmer meget, så man skal sætte den på 25-26 grader for at man får en temperatur på de fortrukne 22 grader. (Ikke sæt den på 21-22 grader for så bliver man alt for kold) Vi benyttede gården et par gange, hvor vi havde hentet en flaske vin, som vi uden problemer fik lov at nyde dernede. Der var endda andre som benyttede muligheden til det. Hotellet er generelt ret slidt, men det afspejler, hvordan Italiens bygninger generelt er. Morgenmaden består af kage, hvide frostflytes, lidt pålæg og meget sød italiensk yoghurt. Men i taget i betragtning, at Italienere ikke spiser andet en kage til morgenmad var det ok. Alt i alt er det et fint hotel til prisen, når man alligevel bare er ude og opleve byen det meste af dagen. - Men vær obs på at turistskatten i byen også gælder her P.s. hvis man går lidt op af vejen forbi rundkørslen er der det hyggeligste pizzaria, som vi fik anbefalet af en hotelmedarbejder.
