"This was a 1900 hotel with heaps of character. It had on-site parking, a restaurant which was full the first night so had to go elsewhere and very limited options. "Modest family run hotel which although with smaller rooms has everything. Free parking, strong wi-fi, king size beds, indoor heated pool, and very accommodating owner manager. Easy walk to the old town and access to the the gourge de Tarn route."

It’s a very small city with a very nice Thursday morning market. There are many artisans and local products. It’s the gateway to the Gorges du Tarn, but it was further away than I realized (35 minute drive). There are plenty of restaurants and stores
