"The castle is dramatic in it's contruction and the tour well worth the time. The hotel is part of the fort itself and is old and charming. Some rooms are being updated, but ours was already good. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy."

The room was quiet and clean, with a level of amenity to be expected. The highlight of the stay was the meal in the hotel restaurant - freshly cooked, local influence and great value. The owner was attentive and keen to please."

"Don't let the tired facade put you off, the room was clean and in good condition. Air conditioning was cold and the shower was hot and good pressure. The bed was comfy and the location is perfect, right next to the train station. Don't judge a book by it's cover!"
