Flintsbach is very centrally located on the edge of the Alps between Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck. The A94, DB and bus routes make it well connected to the traffic network. All 3 cities can be reached by car or train in just one hour. It is about 30 minutes to the nearby Chiemsee. For a decelerated vacation, you can leave the car alone. There are many possibilities to hike in the valley or to the mountains, to explore the area by bike or for the very sporty to bike to the mountains. Those who are not good on foot can take the cog railway to the 1838 m high Wendelstein and enjoy the view of the Central Alps. It is a special experience to take a bird's eye view of the area from the time of gliding. Flintsbach has a very large natural swimming pool that is fed with pure mountain water. In the second oldest folk theater, demanding plays are performed in summer. Tradition is very important here. Weekly stand concerts with dance performances by traditional costumes in the summer months delight guests and locals. Various cultural events in the area complete the offer.
