"We wanted a place close to Lyon to use as a starting point for a tour of the Massif Central. La Rafiliere fit the bill perfectly. The countryside in April was gorgeous and the house was clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was not meeting the donkeys!"

"For our group of 6 over for the Rugby World Cup, we got everything that we needed. The chance to relax, have our own space, ability to cook and the ability to relax at the pool and jacuizi, makes life easy. We were very well looked after by the hosts. The area is great and supermarkets and bakery 5 minute walk, and then bus to take you to Oulins and lyon right at the door. Would recomend staying here to other people."

"This was a family trip from America. First time in France, loved the city but was so nice to come back to our home for the week in the country. We all fell in love with everything. "Our host was very helpful even making last-minute reservations at a 5 Star restaurant. This is a country home with all the charm. We had all the basic needs and it is a short drive to stores and restaurants. There are some steps to get to the bedrooms. Soap and Shampoo are bring your own. All linens and towels were provided as was a fully functioning Kitchen. If you need ice for cocktails buy it before you check in. Highly recommend if touring in this Wine region."
