"Villa Mara is a lovely villa and the outside space is even better than it looks in the photos . The villa was very clean and there were lots of little extras left for us e.g. Toiletries , BBQ supplies and some wine and home produced olive oil . "4 bedrooms, huge sofa (enough for 6 teenagers), pool with inflatables. Walked to bakery every morning including Sunday. Local supermarket within walking distance. All fabulous. We were slightly disappointed by the beach (too rocky and busy) but you could still walk to it. WiFi not strong enough for 2 families though particularly with lots of streaming. "Really beautifully renovated building. Modern kitchen/ bathrooms but nice thick stone walls too! Hosts were friendly, generous and always responded quickly to any questions. Most impressed we were with the care that Barbara and her brother took to welcome us and to promptly help out with some minor issues. The surroundings of the villa are very quiet and peaceful. The pool, veranda and gazebo are great. With the car it is about 15 min to Labin and 25 to the beaches of Rabac."
