Stunning Views
The pictures on this site don't do justice to the breathtaking panorama this home offers. Situated at the very top of a high hill, the views are almost as good from the front porch as they are from the back deck. Such an inspiring place to be--and my father-in-law couldn't stop saying how much he loved it. Will definitely return!

Amazing views
The views in all directions are amazing the cabin is a wide open floor design where everybodies included on the main floors regardless of where you are sitting or standing and the kitchen is amazing no problems feeding our party of 7 and the place was more than amply stocked with nearly anything you could think of. I really enjoyed our stay family memories to last a lifetime.

Beautiful place to stay during Merlefest
We stayed here while attending Merlefest -- it was a little bit of a drive up the mountain, but everything was wonderful/ beautiful. The view was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay -- wish we could have stayed even longer!

New River Marathon Homebase
Our group stayed until his property as a home base to run the New River Marathon. The location was close to the race start and also an easy drive to Boone (<30 minutes) for a post race lunch. The views from this home are spectacular.

The home was wonderful! The stairs were a challenge at times with a 3 year old. We would definitely stay again. We were hoping for snow but Mother Nature had other plans. The winds were high and very cold at times but we ALL enjoyed our stay!

The house and view are beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub.
I suggest a floor mat in front of the master shower. The recycle bin had not been emptied, so we had no place to throw our recyclables. But these are minor compared to the overall experience.

Perfect for the fall
We truly enjoyed this rental. The Location is perfect for seeing the Fall leaves and colors, and it was mostly quiet. We went with our 72 year old mother and 3 year old son. We were a tad concerned about the stairs, but they both did very well! Our son loved the basement game room. We all did! None of us stayed in the basement bedroom but it looked cozy and it along with the downstairs bathroom had heated floors. The view from the balcony was Spectacular! The rental isn't far from many of the great attractions either. The only suggestion I'd make it to bring your own pillows, theirs were a little thin for me but may work for others. We are considering making this an annual trip.

The most beautiful sunsets!
I took my little girl to the mountains to celebrate her 3rd birthday and this house was such a wonderful place for us to make memories. It was very very clean and it had everything we needed. She absolutely loved the hottub! The views were gorgeous. The photos were very accurate and it was even better in person. I had a question and had to reach out after hours and got a very quick response through text from the rental company. I would definitely stay here again if we go back up to Boone! Thank you for having us!

Great Cabin for a Group
The cabin is a great space for a group and has many things to keep guest entertained (hot tub, pool table, ping pong, foosball) and a large TV in the living room. While we were out an about a lot, we wish we would have planned just a day to hang out at the cabin. The cabin was perfect for grandparents, two grown children and spouses, and grandkids. Grab and bring groceries and coffee grounds with you as it is a bit out of town.

Beautiful Home
It is a beautiful home in a great location and a nice view. The kitchen was well stocked making cooking easy. When selecting the property the amenities like the pool table, foosball and ping pong were what set this apart from other properties. The condition of these items was very disappointing. They need to be replaced or should not be listed. There were some cob webs throughout the home (not a big deal...just mentioning so cleaners can be made aware), but other then that the house was very clean. There were a LOT of spiders in the basement (over 15 killed), but the property company couldn't get spray done until after we departed. Given the time of the year, it was an annoyance but understandable. The only other challenge was that the smoke alarm started going off at @ 9:30 in the morning and we could not reset/detach it do to height of the ceilings and lack of a ladder. Our kids had on-line school so we couldn't leave. Maintenance did not show up until @ 4:30 pm to remove it. The day was pretty miserable. Overall, it is a beautiful home. We would definitely consider renting it again provided the amenities were updated.

Fall Getaway
We really enjoyed this house! The views were amazing! The rental company was super nice and easy to work with! The house is spacious and cozy! I only gave it 4 stars because there were a few cobwebs found throughout and the pool table leg was broken and propped up on blocks but still didn't work just right. But none of the small things will stop me from renting again! Just beautiful!

Great house with stunning views
The house was a nice place to stay and was, overall, as advertised. There was an issue with a couple of doors and the floor heating in the basement was not functioning, but otherwise, it was good. The only things needed are some bar stools in the basement and more rocking chairs on the porch. The only complications came with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals communications. That warranted the loss of a star. I would definitely stay here or with another Blue Ridge Mountain Rental house again, but would be very active in calling them closer to time and making sure everything is ready and nothing has happened beforehand.

Buena Vista is the perfect name for this home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buena Vista. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, sunrises, the moon and the stars from the deck. The home was comfortable, well appointed, and an excellent fit for our needs. All appliances, hot tub and AC worked well, and the check in was simple and flawless. We hope to return.

This is a great place to stay!
The pictures and description for this cabin represented the facts very well. It was very clean and is in brand new condition. It’s very convenient to both Boone and New River water sports. I would definitely rent this cabin again!
