L'Oubradou, Mas de charme, shared pool in Provence, nature and calm

With its 75 m2 and its two big terraces facing south and west, L'OUBRADOU is one of the biggest gites at Jardin de Vies.

The ground floor is one huge living room with a lounge area, a wood burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen.

Its two doors enable you to choose which of the two terraces suit you best for eating, reading or taking a little nap, depending on the time of the day and the position of the sun.


Upstairs, you will find:

A large bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) whitch can be separate in 2 singles beds (2* 80 cm) and another single bed (80cm).

A bathroom with a shower and and independent toilet are also located at the first level.

The second bedroom is on a mezzanine, with three single beds (80 cm), 2 of them can be put together in order to make a double bed (160 cm).

You will love the space you get at l'Oubradou !


You will have access in this house to a special FILTERED WATER (reverse osmose and vitalization !) .


ECO TOURISM: Our cleaning products are ORGANIC , so is the soap for the linen and towels (allergy free)

SPA with sauna/ hammam and jacuzzi: available by appointment (only on appointement and with an extra fee).

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé 3 magnifiques semaines à L'oubradou! Pour nos enfants, c'était le paradis: un immense domaine où jouer et courir en toute liberté, la piscine autant qu'ils le souhaitaient, et de belles rencontres avec d'autres enfants. Nous avons été enchanté de notre séjour, pour le cadre (les vignes, les oliviers, le chant des cigales, le ciel constellé d'étoiles) et l'accueil de nos hôtes. Le domaine est très bien situé, à 40 mn du lac Sainte-Croix, 1h de la plage, et au coeur de nombreux sites à visiter: villages perchés, châteaux, grottes, lacs et cascades... Bref, ces 3 semaines sont passées beaucoup trop vite!

Excellente situation, mais gîte relativement moyen
Selon nous, le gîte est assez sommaire; il fait le job, mais n'a pas de charme particulier. La propreté est toute relative ... Par contre, l'endroit est magnifique et la situation permet de rayonner et de visiter la région avec des distances très courtes, ce qui est vrai plus.

Wir wurden nach unserer Ankunft von unserem Vermieter sehr freundlich empfangen und durch das Haus geführt. Das Objekt ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und entspricht im wesentlichen der Beschreibung im FEWO Direkt Portal. Insgesamt ist das Objekt und die Einrichtung zwar schon etwas älter aber irgendwie im positiven Sinne. Es wirkte alles sehr authentisch. Obwohl die meisten Wohnungen direkt nebeneinander liegen hat man kaum etwas von den Nachbarn mitbekommen. Das Highlight war für uns und die Kinder der Pool mit dem Blick auf das wunderschöne Haupthaus. Wir haben uns in den zwei Wochen Urlaub sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Doug und Silvie für die unaufdringliche Gastfreundschaft.

We highly recommend this delicious place to spend your holiday
Two week stay is over and we love it - and will definitely visit them again for the fourth time! Nice place with different apartments to suit most people's needs. Lovely swimming pool, peaceful place in provence atmosphere and down to earth and they are some amazing hosts. How wonderful it is that you are greeted every day with a smile, a good remark and they remember your name and seek a sincere contact and relationship with our daughter - then you feel welcome and not like a customer. With these well-intentioned and sincere words, we would highly recommend others to visit Doug and Sylvie and we look forward to another visit with them! They do it perfectly

Parfait !
Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Doug et Sylvie qui nous ont très bien accueillis; leurs gîtes (ancien petit hameau reconverti) sont situés dans un environnement calme et plein de charme; l'endroit est aussi source de convivialité entre vacanciers s'ils le veulent. Il se dégage de cet endroit beaucoup de sérénité, à l'image de ses hôtes ! Bref à recommander sans aucune hésitation !

Bon séjour
Dans l’ensemble, nous avons passé un bon séjour malgré les nombreuses piqures de moustiques. L’endroit est très agréable. La piscine est sympathique mais il manque des transats ( il n’y a que des chaises). Le mas était propre mais semblait avoir été inhabité. Une terrasse sans vis-à-vis et abritée par un toit végétal nous a permis de manger à l’ombre mais l’arrosage automatique a tout gâché en se mettant en route le soir et le matin aux heures de repas. L’accueil à notre arrivée fut très rapide et absent lors de notre départ. En ce qui concerne la cuisine, elle n’est pas fonctionnelle et est sans micro-ondes et sans bouilloire. En revanche, il y a bien une cafetière et un lave-vaisselle. Nous n’avons pas pu informer les propriétaires qui sont à peine visibles.

We've had a lovely time during our stay at L'Oubradou, Jardin de Vies. Plenty of room, nice enclosed garden which offered lots of privacy. Kids spent mornings and evenings at the pool and during the daytime we went on trips, many trips! Because of the location we were close by many splendid villages, the coast, Gorges du Verdon and Lac St. Croix. Even though we only spent a week at L'Oubradou we will remember this vacation as warm, cozy, very French, refreshing and fun. I would recommend this place in the Provence to all my friends!
