But everyone we spoke to was pleasant and helpful and managed to find different rooms for us to use on the 2 nights we stayed, it also appears that the "error" was on the part of Expedia (who we used to make the booking) not passing the correct information to the property"

"Excellent location for our day at Hatfield House. Only one drawback was that we had to enter our rooms via the fire escape which had 2 flights of metal stairs which was quite difficult in the rain carrying suitcases. Otherwise everything else was good. The staff were lovely and very professional."
