Also my telephoned dinner reservation had not been noted at reception on checking in but it didn’t in this instance cause any problem . Very nice food. Nice cosy hotel and good facilities so will return for a break."

"We had cause to book a hotel quickly for one night in Hull and came across this gem. It's an old school/college building which has been converted into a hotel. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bar provided good food at drink at very reasonable prices. We would definitely return."
