"We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge. "

"Eilert Smith Hotel exceeded our expectations!!! This is a Luxury Boutique Hotel. They treat you like royalty right when you walk in the door. I would definitely stay there again in Stavanger. It was the best of all places we stayed in Norway. It didn’t have the most amenities or even the best views but it made up for it in service and quality of the room and everything in the room. Right next to the rink but the walk way between the two buildings was closed making it necessary to walk in the rain to get to the arena doors. Also, there is no complementary customer parking. "The hotel is about a 5 min walk from the transport services. We got the 42 from the airport to Sandnes bus station and the hotel is visible from there. The train to Stavanger is also in the bus area too so this made going out for the day really easy to navigate. We were on the top floor with some good landscape views. Breakfast was nice enough and plenty of bits to choose from "

"Das Haus liegt sehr schön am Hang über dem Fjord in einer kleinen Siedlung. Zum Bootsliegeplatz sind es fünf Minuten zu Fuß. Die Ortschaft Fister ist ca 2 km entfernt, dort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung im Inserat. Schlüsselübergabe usw. alles unproblematisch. Bei der selbst mitzubringenden Bettwäsche sollte man wissen, dass in zwei Schlafzimmern Doppelmatratzen liegen und man deshalb breite Laken benötigt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, aber ein Auto ist...
