This cabin was everything we needed and more. The views were incredible, the cabin cozy, and there were so many things to do near by! The hosts were awesome, and there were so very responsive! I would recommend this cabin to everyone, it was absolutely perfect.
This place is incredible surrounded by mountains and fields of green along a pristine river. Peace and quiet comes to mind. A beautiful cabin that was well appointed. This was a lovely vacation. Thank you.
We had a wonderful stay. The bed is huge and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the quiet solace was incredible. The upper level gets nice and toasty with a fire going downstairs. True to the name we had three nights of clear skies and beautiful stars - I have never seen the Milky Way so bright. Bring sleeping bags and binoculars as there is plenty of room to lay out in the yard or adjacent field.
I grew up in Montana and the cabin was everything I could have hoped for. From the first encounter driving into the short driveway to the house. I had an antelope that wouldn’t get out of the way. He just stood there and stared at me then casually jumped the fence and headed across the pasture.
The scenery is something from my childhood…situated at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains and close to West Rosebud creek in an idyllic setting.
I wasn’t able to see many stars because the moon was so bright you could see plainly outside once your eyes adjusted.
I hope anyone that reads this takes the time to book a stay and enjoy the experience.
Cheers
Beautiful property. Loved the horses and mules that would come to the fence. Mountain view was spectacular. Watching cattle and Elk cross the property was so interesting. The bugling and whistling of the Elk was nature at its best. Very welcoming.
Gorgeous landscapes, solitude, and an historic cabin with a history of strength and love of the west. An amazing place we want to visit again & again. It was the best!
We spent our anniversary weekend at this lovely little cabin and had a wonderful time. We drove the area, had many trips to the Fishtail Market, and walked the beautiful walk that Tessa suggested. We will be back for sure!
The location is spectacular, the cabin feels like home and has such a nice feel to it and Tessa is a great host. Everything went perfectly! I hope to stay there again.
A nice location to escape from the Summer crowds. We enjoyed meandering through the pastures and meeting some of the ranch residents including horses, donkeys, deer and rabbits. Some residents were more socially inclined than others.
Tessa was a wonderful hostess and treated us to some goodies from her garden.
Great Place to stay!!! Excellent Montana Fishing. Beautiful Sky at night.
Had a great time, primarily trout fishing for a few days before heading to the Madison River.
I wished afterward I spent the whole time at the ranch!!
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner.
Great place to stay and I will be back for a longer visit.
Fantastic location and peacefully quiet solitude. We enjoyed every second of our stay. We should have gone earlier and stayed longer to get away from the hustle of the city for a while. We will most certainly have it on our list to return in the future!
