"This review is split into 2 parts.. we shall start with the positives. Food here was lovely and the waiting staff were helpful and responsive even with our very limited German. The lake was beautiful although often overcrowded in the afternoon with inflatables near the jetty. If you go earlier in the day it’s beautiful and tranquil. The view across the lake is lovely. "We were looking for a place to stay between Vienna and Pisa and we found Strandhotel Faak along the way at a reasonable price. The staff was attentive and very pleasant (they spoke English in addition to several other languages). The breakfast was included and was very good (e.g. eggs made to order). We visited during February, so their main amenity (i.e. sunbathing and swimming in the Faak See) was not available to us. We look forward to visiting again during the summertime to get the full...
