"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! "This is a beautiful Tuscany experience. Very small property perched on a hill, very well appointed and large rooms, gorgeous views, beautiful surrounding vineyards for endless walking, spectacular pool, ultra-foodie restaurant. One warning, do not recommend this if anyone in the party gets carsick. It is far off the beaten track, with lots of curvy roads, and a considerable amount of gravel roads."

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
