"Absolutely wonderful. Not a detail missed and many that I never would have thought of found. Probably the best equipped self-catering spot we’ve stayed at. Nice lounge with large flat screen TV, lovely dining table, big heavy drapes throughout, great collection of books to sift through (Including quite a few on Stonehenge). Very close (at least by car) to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, easy to find."

"Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"

"Amazing property, beautifully styled. It felt very welcoming and there were lots of extra little touches that made the stay more special. The breakfast basket was awesome!! Highly recommend the Old Mill Pub too, which is within walking distance. Thank you for a great stay. "

"Exactly as stated on ad! A real home from home. Lovely and clean. Well equipped for longer stays. Comfy beds. Communication with owner was spot on. Would definitely use again if in the area."

"Comfortable cottage for a group of three couples, with plenty of space. Three good sized bedrooms with ensuites, though one only has a hand held shower. The kitchen was well equipped, including a good steamer pan, and there was plenty of crockery and glasses, and a good sized dining table. The local pub, the Swan, is only a short walk away and serves good food. Room to park three cars either in the cottage grounds or the church carpark next door. Host was easy to contact and very helpful."

"We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. Also parking for two cars. We took some wonderful trips in the area where many of the villages have thatched cottages. There is a post office and village shop close by and local pubs within...

"Wonderful stay in Pigsty Cottage. Steve and Lizzie were very welcoming and even stocked the fridge with a few essentials to get us through the next morning. Lovely and private, we had a car and were in a perfect location to access Stone Henge, Avebury, Bath, Oxford, Stratford on Avon and more. Steve even told us about the Kennet and Avon locks which were an engineering marvel. My husband even got to try his hand (and back) at opening the gates. "A fantastic short break with great walks, shopping in Marlborough and relaxing in a lovely cottage which was comfy clean and really well equipped with everything you could want. Some thoughtful touches included goodies for us and treats for my dog! Will definitely be returning. "

"Wonderful little cottage. Host was very helpful before and during our stay. Lots of good recommendations for the area. We made use of the hot tub as well as the fireplace. Enjoyed several sites very close by. Great place to launch to see lots of things in the area. Arrange to have the hot tub preheated so we could utilize it both nights. Very enjoyable stay, highly recommend."

"We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area "
