"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valza, rooms were clean, beds large and comfortable, walk in rain shower and a sea view balcony. Breakfast included cake, eggs, bread, sausages, crepes, jams, cereal, yoghurt, coffee etc. Evening meal can be had at the restaurant and was delicious. The best bit though was the owner, he really couldn't do enough to help us, including planning itineraries, recommending locations and restaurants and generally doing everything he could to bake sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is near the beach and the parking is very convenient. What made this hotel stand out is the amazing buffet breakfast. The chef is truly talented. He served a buffet of different style eggs, sausages, breads, cheeses, vegetables (grilled and raw) and best of all, his own original baked goods. Truly a work of art. I wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the sunrise hotel. We were looked after well by our hosts and breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and we were close to many restaurants and shops. TBH I was not sure how we would find Albania but I would definitely recommend taking the time to come here. Lots to see in Durres, we were here before the main season but the advantage is that it's a bit cooler. A lovely surprise was the gift from the hotel owners when we checked out. Thanks so much."

"Very clean and quiet hotel. Staff very friendly also. Breakfast is huge (as usual in Albania lol) . To have the spa is a nice feature as well, we enjoyed it a lot! We were only disapointed about the steam room who was out of order and the hot tub who is cold (we are not used to cold hot tub lol) but the view from the spa worth it yet!! "
