"We had a wonderful stay in Montpellier. We greatly enjoyed the view of the cathedral from the apartment window and hearing the bells. The kitchen was smaller than we prefer but the apartment is well located for walking to many sights, restaurants, cafes and more. We had no trouble with climbing the stairs to the top floor and, overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We had easy communication with the host prior to our stay, and we will definitely return to Montpellier. Thank you!!"

Multitudinous confusion with communications (undelivered texts & emails; not sure how or where the breakdown occurred) checking in and unavailable wifi. "The apartment is nice for maximum 2 people. The girl in charge doesn't speak English and it's very laid back, so make sure she understands the agreement about your arrival and your leave. The neighborhood can be a little sketchy after 9 pm and the entrance of the building is quite nasty because people smoke and leave trash."

"Unfortunately we were plagued by creatures, it could have been the weather or the fact that the builder who was banging a lot had disturbed them. The apartment needed updating. there was no ventilation in the separate toilet, no smoke alarm or extinguisher, tv did not work, overgrown garden with rotten decking,full bins and a dirty bbq. We found the area noisy at night and tight to park in. On the plus side the bed was comfy but not proper pillows. We left early and the owners gave us 2 nights...

"We chose the location because the transport links and walkable distance to places we needed to visit. However, our room window was toward a noisy street and it was pretty loud all night. It’s very clean and cosy, but the lighting in the rooms is really only suitable if you want to just sleep there, if you need to work a bit there is no adequate lighting and only one power socket by the desk. It’s a perfect hotel for holiday stay, but not perfect so for work trips. "
