"Off the beaten track, this picturesque place is tucked away in the hills. It’s very relaxing but there are a few nice walks to explore. The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable. I would strongly recommend taking your own food as most places are shut or permanently closed. "

Not only very welcoming but went to the trouble of texting us after we checked out the following day about weather conditions and power outages, etc. in the area we were travelling to. Her advice was very helpful and greatly appreciated."

"Great spot at the door step to Mt Feild. Very few places this close to Tasmanian wilderness at your front door with all the comforts of home. Excellent cafe called Fika nearby at Maydena. Worth the short drive for morning or afternoon tea or a great lunch. Highly recommend."

"The rural sheep farm offered quiet, a modern cabin, excellent food dinner, a wonderful farm tour that included wallabies, echidnas, a sheepdog herding demonstration, and an up-close sheep shearing demonstration. The owner is gracious and informative in several languages. We spent 2 nights enjoying comfortable beds and the calls of many interesting birds and animals. Nearby we can also recommend the gin distillery tasting and hiking the 3 waterfalls at Mt. Field national park. "
